Thanks, madscot - I was hoping that the butt toughens up eventually. :D I did buy a pair of Specialized bike shorts that have pretty thick padding, and they do help... can't imagine riding on that...
It sounds to me like you are really enjoying the quest and are comfortable on it, so unless you're really attached to the scott, sell it. The extra $ could be spent on accessories :D
