LB - not sure it would be the same to play online. There was something cool and sitting at the table all night with a group of friends, eating, drinking, and doing, well, whatever...

I played D&D back in 1979/80 before computers. We had a grid on the table and block things to make the walls which we built as we went. We had metal characters which we painted. We'd start a game...

I had forgotten my D&D character Gwendolyn.. memories of games that lasted entire weekends...
