Yes, this used to be like a second home to me -- even if I didn't post, I still read everything and felt like I knew so many people.
I had an apple watch, I still have it somewhere, but I don't use it. It didn't have what I needed for running and biking and once I left work I didn't need calendar reminders for meetings.
Totally...
I checked the FB page and didn't see any interaction, this used to be such a great community.
Seems very quiet here. Where is everyone?
I'll check it out again, but my two primal jerseys I ended up giving away --- they had an odd fit on me.
I ride in the rain all the time since I live in Oregon. I just have to dress for it. It also depends on which side of the state I am in too. I ride in the valley all the time in the rain, not so much...
I feel your pain. Literally. I am past the horrible part of my surgery, but still sitting much of the time -- mine was knee, not hip. I went months of my doctor telling me I just had a pulled...
Any updates on this? FWIW, I have a salsa vaya that I use as my commuter bike -- 13 mile each way. I love it -- I also use it for bike camping and touring. It's an amazing bike.
Kajero, I'm so sorry for your loss.
I have a Jeep Wrangler, 4x4. I know - horrible gas mileage - but, two people and 2 large labs can sleep comfortably in the back with the seats down! No need to...
I think that depends where you live. I live in the middle of nowhere and I prefer it that way. I have a clear view of the mountains from my back deck and no noise from the neighbors who are very far...
Wonderful PNW weather. It's been high 60s - low 70s this week. Good thing too -- the Barrel to Keg relay is this weekend and I'm running in it. It's only 70 miles from a winery to a brewery :) -...
It's been so dry here it seems we will never get rain or snow again. We couldn't find snow this year in the Cascades and in Oregon, the ski areas didn't open.
I did. I ran a 5k only. It was around the hop fields of the Rogue brewery. Finishing gift was a Rogue Brewery pint class and your choice of filler :)
I think I would go for the Benham Falls trail if you want a trail. Depending on how far you want to drive, there are lots of places outside the city. Most gravel though will also have sand since it...
I am so tired of home remodeling also. I am working remotely at my vacation house while every floor in my other house has been ripped out (good riddance to the pink carpet). I was going to stay...
So funny about the rabbits. We actually let ours mow the lawn. They are loose in the yard.
Running and more running. Just did a 50k! I walked a portion of it (along with many others -- 7100 feet of elevation gain!). I went out the next weekend and did a 5k. That seemed like nothing.
Me too. I get the 0% Fage and throw in a handful of fruit I have frozen that I picked fresh last summer - peaches, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries -- whatever I feel like that day. By the time...
I just wonder if my AAA coverage really would work in some of the areas I ride.
We have rain barrels under our eaves at the house-- one on each corner -- we use them to irrigate the kitchen vegetable garden. We also have a 1500 gallon one down at the barn that catches rainwater...
We were up in the Cascades this past weekend and even at over 5500 feet there was no snow.
Memories. I hated it there. Not painful, just really really hated living there. I don't even like driving by on the highway.
I can't even deal with the thought of neighbors. We live in 6 acres on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere and our vacation house has 3 acres.
UGH I was stationed at Fort Lewis and I will never enter that place again. That cut this ride out for me :(
