Oops, sowwy! :p
Edema is actually covered on the chart under endothelial permeability, but that isn't very obvious if you haven't taken biology/anatomy.
Here's a neat map of histamine pathways in the body:

Periodic soaks in very warm saline solution can also help.
Don't be depressed. If you had a genetic problem with being able to metabolize histamine, you would have had this as a lifelong condition. That you've been fine in the past and this is sneaking up on...
I've had a lot of problems with what is known as a "pseudoallergy", mostly triggered by food colorings, dyes, and certain foods. I used to have constant issues with hives that would get triggered by...
The women just on this side of the line would have what's called a "subclinical" condition. Possibly/probably experiencing problems already but not meeting the official criteria for clinical...
That old attitude that IUDs are only suitable for married women with children is changing over time. Check out your local Planned Parenthood. I got my first IUD there at 20, nullipara & nullihubby. ;)
If you're concerned about osteoporosis you should consider getting off of Depo. Lots of women use the Mirena IUDs to treat endometriosis.
Oh, you have the smaller sized Nova T then? This has less copper in it (200 mm^2) and hence a shorter lifespan. I have the Paragard T380A which was recently extended from a 10 year lifespan to 12...
Nope, copper ones are FDA approved for 12 years. The hormonal ones (Mirena, etc) are the 5 years.
My first copper IUD took at least a year to settle in, and I would often get cramps and spotting with any kind of physical exertion. I always thought of it like breaking in a new pair of shoes....
What are you using now that handles such a heavy flow?
I usually have one flood afternoon where I lose about an ounce per hour for several hours in a row. The capacity of my MoonCup is...
At home, I'll use hot water bottles and/or an extra fleece throw/blanket just wrapped around my feet in addition to the socks. When camping, I'll often use chemical handwarmer packets stuffed inside...
Tax return + Ibex winter sale =
Waiting for my thistle heather Shak hoody. And, um, the Mollie jacket. And, um, some undies. Whups. :o
All of the above, and also investigate Vitamin D deficiency which can impact athletic performance.
Free range organic eggs are usually fed organic corn. Still better than GMO/pesticide laden corn, but feeding livestock high-carb diets creates meat and eggs with more saturated fats and a less...
Yup, wool tanks, tees, and even longsleeved shirts. I don't like getting a lot of sun exposure so I'll often wear the ultra lightweight longsleeved base layers.
I've also had problems with chronic hives as well as dermatographism. After eliminating all of the skincare/detergents, I ended up tracking my food intake and narrowed it down to a few culprits. The...
What kind of laundry detergent are you using? It might not be the wool.
But it would really suck if it were. You would have to give all of your wool to us. (So what size are ya? :p )
Yup, the main way I eat honey is with my yogurt. I just dip the clean spoon in and then use the honeyed spoon to eat the yogurt. It doesn't melt off, but it's fun to lick.
I trim my (indoor only) kitty's claws to save my wool clothing. :)
I'll take "Germany or Florida" for $1000, Alex.
Yeah, I don't bike in weather that cold anyways! :o
Oh yes, I love Manzellas too. My favorites are the thin silkweight ones. I trashed my last pair backpacking in Iceland (they did not hold up...
I've been on the quest for the perfect winter glove for a long time. I really like a lot of the Ibex gloves but they simply don't have anything beyond lightly weather-resistant soft shells. Unless...
