Pureology stopped working for me, too. I switched to a sulfate free shampoo. I use Thermafuse. There's also N4 shampoo, it's too pricey for me to want to try it, but it's supposed to be very good.

I had planned on taking a car racing driving school course, but found out I'd be about 12 weeks pregnant during the course. I knew at 5 weeks that I wasn't the driver I was a few weeks prior and...
That ride looks amazing! Great photo!
I'm exactly the same type of shopper. I also try to buy whatever I can online. I just don't enjoy shopping for the most part.
I went for a nice mini ride with my preteen daughter for Mother's day. We only wound up doing 4 miles because she got a flat (slow leak) and my pump valve adapter disappeared!! Boo for not being...
Thanks, Owlie. My pedals are plastic. I was wondering if I'd have to change them, thanks for clarifying.
I wouldn't worry about it, but my feet have slipped off everytime I've ridden so far. It feels really clumsy. I'm considering just getting partial cages (or whatever they are called) just to keep my...
As a road bike newbie, I am appreciative of mentors! I'm keeping an eye out for classes in my area, I think I found one in June - the info is a little vague. I'm sure I could use some tips on...
Thanks everyone! It's nice to be able to share my excitement with people who understand!
I've been on 3 rides so far, and my issues have entirely been with my out-of-shapedness. No saddle...
Thanks for posting this, Irulan.
I'm still new to a lot of the bike lingo and I haven't fully read that manifesto yet, but... when you say "flat/flat" do you mean a flat pedal and a flat shoe? And...
Thanks! Yep, it's silver/purple (the logos and writing are in purple).
My cat, Boden, used to "meow" and as he got older he started to say a very raspy "myAT". He kind of sounded like a duck-dog. It didn't seem to bother him, and it certainly didn't stop him from...
First, a million thank yous to the wonderful women on this forum - you were a tremendous help in selecting my new bike and accessories. This forum is a fantastic resource and a wonderful community....
Congrats on the new bike! Glad you were able to get dibs on it first!
I will, thanks! I hope I get the call today! I have a 5k scheduled tomorrow, so my first ride would be Sunday. I usually ride on the weekdays because the trail is busy on the weekends, but I don't...
Thanks for asking! I am not-patiently awaiting my Ruby Sport compact to arrive at my LBS. they said it should be here late this week. I'm going crazy waiting!! :)
That was a great article, Oak! Many things on that list I have used or could have used myself when I'm in my low swings. I'm keeping it for future reference.
If you insist, I shall deliver. :)
I went out this weekend and managed to score some fantastic sale prices at a LBS. I am now armed with a jersey, bike shorts (40% off Pearl Izumis that were crazy...
Ooh! Thank you! I'm always looking for a good stretch program. I also have terminally tight hamstrings.
I will, thanks! Leeloo the dog is my little doofus.
I rode a Roubaix today (they didn't have a Ruby in my size), and I LOVED it. I ordered the Ruby Sport and am so excited! It should be here next...
Thanks, Muirenn. Maybe I have to post a certain number of times before I can create one. I can edit my avatar and profile, but there isn't currently an option for signature.
That makes me even more excited! I'm dying to go rent one and check it out, but I really want to get my tush reconditioned to the saddle before I jump on a new bike. I'm going on a ride tomorrow, and...
Very helpful, thank you. I'm pretty much only looking at the Ruby right now (I'm not the original poster looking at the Amira), but I will for sure share what I get. Based on the posts here and the...
Oh my, that is adorable! It's 93° F right now at close to 5pm, so I'm thinking I'd be sweating buckets if I wore one of those (which is not so adorable).
