Benefit Ride for Haiti Relief: 100% of all entry fees goes to Mercy Corps: 80 miles for $80!
Held on Eastern San Diego County's...
George and I were invited to pre-ride this route on a cold November day with a handful of others. It's an epic route that promises not to disappoint! We'll be there suffering (hopefully a little less...
As a business owner I'd probably stay out of it. Word of mouth in the bike shop biz is huge and one or two remarks from people seem to trickle down and could end up hurting your business.
Wow...I like that one too! Hmmmm...I'm riding a Swallow now. I wonder how it compares.
I like! I can't tell, is it a Swift? I need another Brook's so I can stop moving mine from bike to bike. It would look lovely on my white R3!
I'm a bike hoarder, so I never sell...just add to the collection. :o
I'll be out there next month and would love to sneak some rides in. Any suggestions?
:p So, so rough we have it! Off for some more fun in the local Santa Ana Mountains tomorrow where the highs will be around 75. Poor me. :D

Thank you for posting this!
I emailed offering a place to stay, after seeing this post here. Imagine my surprise when my phone rang yesterday morning and it was Bill. We talked for a short bit...
I see these kids out on Glendora Mountain Road. They usually go down 5-7 at a time, with a follow vehicle. I actually wish they'd start higher up than the 3 miles that they do, because the guy in the...
I don't even try.
I'm divorced so the kids are with their dad half of the time. I work full time. I have furry friends who require my time too. Oh, and that boyfriend person too. ;)
When my...
I'm out of shape and VERY slow right now! :P Besides, climbing rides are great for riders of varying abilities. The faster climber can summit and turn around and descend for the slower rider. :)

I live in Orange County (Huntington Beach) but I should start trekking out to your area soon to get ready for Breathless Agony. I'll start pre-riding the course or variations of parts of it, so Oak...
Another Skins fan here.
To those trying to get off with the cheaper option of medical grade compression socks, be careful. There is typically too much compression in them. More compression is not...
Sometimes I nod and give a lift of the fingers off the bars, other times I don't. It depends on where I'm at in my workout. If I'm doing intervals, I can't break out of that just to acknowledge...
This is Ollie. We adopted him in May (from a private party) and he's two years old...which in Lab Mix (or whatever he is)...means still a puppy! I can't believe how much energy he has and how much he...
94 miles of chasing the boyfriend!
No. No. No. No. No. Oh, and another no from my nine year old daughter, who refused to ride her purple Specialized Hot Rock because it was "too girly"...lol.
Trac' is right. George works for Nytro in Encinitas, CA and has sold hundreds of Cervelo's in the past few years. They have a Fly 'n Ride program which may help offset the cost of your trip.

I went from a 54cm Trek 1000 WSD and moved to a 52cm Trek 5500 originally. What's funny is that when we were comparing measurements, they were pretty darn close. Where did the 54 WSD feel too big?...
If you have no back problems and you're comfortable with more of a race geometry, I'd go with the R3. I'll ask the boyfriend to chime in here, he's more knowledgable on the technical fitting aspects...
I went from a 52 cm Trek 5500 to a 51 cm Cervelo R3 with no problems. I can't find a geometry chart for the older Trek so it's hard to compare. All of my bikes are set up the same and my boyfriend...
I think that this is a HUGE factor. I just don't think that people have ANY clue whatsoever how fast we ride at times and figure that they can make that move faster than we will reach them.
