That's cool! I got it a few months ago at our bike commuter shop for $40. It is a really cute bike that's perfect for my relatively short, flat commute.
Western side of Canada as well, by Edmonton. There's quite a few stylish riders nowadays around here. I heard of the blogger through redbike's website...but she's got some really nice outfits!
Here's also another blogger, who has a pretty awesome site. Very stylish with some cool bikes! She usually wears a helmet so maybe you can contact her to see if you can use one of her pictures?...
My husband and I took some pictures in our city's bike trails. We went to the market that day and I dressed up in a skirt, but I still wore my normal helmet :)

Thanks! So the problem could just be simple, little things? I put a couple of drops of oil into the internal hub, but how much do I put in? Is it a special oil?
I have a 3 speed Raleigh cruiser that has a Sturmey Archer hub. It keeps going into neutral (just spins) at times by itself and sometimes if I readjust the gear shifters, it'll be fine. Do you guys...
I think it's $800 for the electra bike. It is cute, the blue purse on the front of the bike. I guess it would be good to have on sunny days, but I wouldn't leave it on my bike. I wonder if it...
I have a bell on my bar end and I like to ring it just before passing or shout, on your left, before passing runners or other cyclists...just so they're aware of you.
I'm glad to hear that your...
My husband has a Jake the Snake that he uses on the road. He just changed the wheels, which was really cheap. He also is as fast as some of the people with their carbon frames so the rider does...
I just got this bike for $30 and I'm making it my bike project. I think I need to replace the chain and the cassette, and learn how to make the gears work. Plus it needs a little bit of shine :p
I'm...
I have the Giant and I really like it. However, I don't have a lot of experience with road bikes (this is my first one and I've had it for about a year). It fits me well though and it feels really...
I don't ride like that in the city. It does seem dangerous (especially riding on the yellow line) because cars that don't see you can turn into you.
Yeaah, a bike actually did run into me when I was driving because he was going the wrong way on a one way street with a stop sign. It freaked me out and he flew off his bike but he was okay (and the...
That is a pretty bike! I have the Giant Avail1 (the green and white one). I wish mine was all white haha but yours was out of my budget!
Hopefully you can take it out for a ride soon!
I wear lululemon bras (not too busty) and they work well. They have a lift and separate bra that is made of this really light, silky material (tactel fabric) and then they have this deep v bra that...
Hi. I have the new Giant Avail1 and it's been great so far. I haven't really taken it out on the road a lot, since it's winter here, but I use it every week for spin class. I like that it's a triple...
lululemon bags are a good size and there's some that look kind of dressy. You'd probably have to keep your camera in a camera bag but it'll probably fit in the bags too. I use mine all the time to...
Yeaah, the leather would be classic, but I think I might do something fun. We'll see though...
I haven't taken it for a long ride yet. I have just taken it around the block. It's been kind of cold...
Here is a picture of my new bike. I would like to change the bar tape sometime to make it 'unique' but not sure what colour yet. Maybe a light purple to make it girly, or maybe a celeste green?
I definitely do enjoy fashion. I'm a student so I wear a lot of sweats and lululemon stuff. I love hoodies, but I do have a couple of jeans that I love. I also like some vintage sweater pieces...
Thanks! It will probably be a while before it's going to be loaded, but I like that it has rear eyelets :) I will post a pic of it soon!
I'm thinking of switching the bar tape to something fun. It's...
Thanks for all the help! I decided to go for the Giant Avail 1 (green/white). It has eyelets on the back, a triple crankset and Shimano 105s. I went with an xs because the reach on the small felt a...
And I would only change the compact if I needed to later (if I moved or needed it for Itally or something). I definitely think the compact would be fine where I live (AB, Canada) because it's not too...
Thanks Grog! I will have to try out the Devinci (52 ttube) and maybe think about the Giant Xs Defy1, because that at least is a 51.5 top tube. The Avail 1 in a small (52.5) is slightly too long. The...
