I was sidelined by a persistant hamstring problem, but I've been doing short, slow runs on the rail trail. The weather is spectacular, the trees are gorgeous, and I wish I could be out there longer....
I ran 2 miles through the woods. Beautiful. It was bright and sunny for the first half of the run and then blustery and sleeting for the second part. Still beautiful.
I love The New Rules of Lifting series. My favorite is the the one targeting the core, but all of them are good. I tend to lift from October to April.

Here's my sweet girl. She's a 4 month old goldendoodle.
I've been doing a bit more running than cycling lately. This morning I am taking my kid on a run, probably just a mile. We're headed to a local rail trail. Soft, flat, no cars. :)
Around here, men/boys/teens wear baseball caps all the time. The majority do not take them off when inside. My DH wears one, but always removes it when he enters a building.
Nice bike! Ride with joy.
I've done a few tris over the years just for fun. I'm slow, but I keep going. I have used all of your options. My fave is currently a 2 piece tri suit--much easier for pre-race visits to the...

Thanks for the Cerave recommendation. I bought some yesterday. :)
Wow, sign me up for jealous! That sounds great.
Speedy recovery to you, shootingstar! Take care of yourself.
First, vaccines do not cause autism. There has never been a proven link and the doctor who proposed it has lost his medical license.
Second, with regard to the idea that Round up is the cause of...
Or perhaps the fat tired biker! Then it would definitely be for me!
Ugh, rum and coke from undergrad years! What were we thinking?
Yum, that hot buttered rum sounds good. Wish I had some rum in the house, but I guess I can fix that.
I'm thankful that I can ride.
Oh my. She is gorgeous. Wishing you thousands of happy miles together.
Ugh, I cannot stand flannel sheets. I love the idea of them, but they are too hot and my cotton pjs cling to them.
We have an electric mattress pad. Heavenly! Ours has dual controls, which I recommend if you are sharing the bed. I preheat my side, then turn it off when I am ready to sleep.

Supposed to be a running forum, but topics vary.
Love the Mystery Machine lunchbox!
If it hadn't been for those meddling kids...
Oakleaf nailed it here--go slower and shorter than you think you "should." If you cannot rely on yourself to do that, try a schedule like Couch to 5K to get you started. Stretch that piriformis...
