I agree that cross is very addicting... I did my third race on Saturday at Gloucester and can't wait for the next one. So far I'm ok with being in the back of the field as I learn but hopefully next...

I'm also a new rider and recently got to 2008 Redline Conquest... it's a fun bike to ride and it's one of the cheaper cross bikes out there... their model one up from that seemed really nice too and...

So Amesbury was my first race... it was a lot of fun but I was blown away by how exhausting the course was... I was not prepared for the level of fitness that I have to be at. I didn't finish but...
