I did not see you mention that you've been to a bike shop so if you haven't already that is your first stop. Visit bike shops in your area. Do not shop at Target or Walmart for a bike. It's low...
My husband just started a new job and would love to put a team together but he doesn't have the time for this year. Hopefully next year! Maybe by then I just might try it.
I had to resurect this thread as I'm doing the same thing! We moved into another house a couple months ago and have decided to decorate the guest bath with a bicycle theme. I've already painted the...
You have to be a retailer or distributor or something like that. My hubby and I own a bike shop so that's how we got to go. I did see a few people with guest badges. Not sure what those mean.
There's also a new Spinervals coming out called On the Road. So instead of watching people on trainers you watch Troy out on the road. It looks pretty good. Got to meet Evil Troy at Interbike. ...
Did everyone enjoy Interbike? I had a blast! I got to meet several cycling celebs and thought I'd share some that I got pics with. George and Thor are such cuties! Enjoy!
Bob Roll...
This will also be my first Interbike as hubby bought a bike shop about a month ago. Also my first trip to Vegas. Looking forward to it and hoping to see Bob Roll!
Hi pikato and welcome!! I've been riding for 3 years and my first road bike was an OCR3. I rode that for a year and then upgraded to a TCRC2. The OCR3 was a good starter bike at the time cause I...
This is a great idea and will elliminate the confusion
Well after some car shopping we decided on a 2006 Toyota RAV4. This was not a car we'd even considered until a friend who works at a Toyota dealership pointed it out. They've redone the '06 model...
I saw the thread on bj and was shocked by the comments. Had no idea this was a hot topic. If there was an all guys ride I could care less. I like the idea of an all girls ride and wish there was...
Just like everyone else said it's important to have an LBS do a bike fit. Here is a site that may give you some more detail in the mean time. http://www.coloradocyclist.com/bikefit/
Great, I learned something new today! Here's the link for all interested. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/

My first road bike was a Giant OCR3. I kept it for a year and upgraded. It was heavy and the Sora components are the lowest in the Shimano line. The thing that took some getting used to after I...
I had the handlebars changed on my road bike when I bought it. The LBS suggested girl bars. This is what the receipt says "38 4 Girls Bar, Brand: Deda Piega."
My hubby has a friend that has all his ride t-shirts turned into a quilt. I haven't seen it yet but it sounds really neat. Hopefully I'll get several more shirts and can do the same.
This is now FREE to the first person who sends me a PM
Check out this link about bike fit. http://www.coloradocyclist.com/bikefit/ Item D will explain the knee position based on saddle height.
Caligurl, what car did you get? From a previous post you were looking at the new RAV4. We have one coming in next week, if there are no delays.
That's kinda neat. I'd like to hear the opinion of someone who's used it.
I'm 5'2 and riding a Giant TCR Composite 2 size XS. The only change I made was narrower handlebars. Eveything else was perfect.
A couple months ago I switched to Shimano Dura Ace pedals and love them! I did try Shimano SPD road pedals but I had lots of knee pain with these as there was not enough float.
Sounds just like me. I rode my OCR3 for a year and said it's time to upgrade cause I've actually stuck with this for a year. I now have a Giant TCR C2 and love it!!
