141.8 this morning
Please add me in, starting at 142.8, with a new goal of 136. : )
142.8 is my final weigh-in, and I'm really excited that I *almost* got to my goal weight (142). Within a pound is pretty cool. I'll sign up for the May/June too (I'll post it to that thread though)....
As of today, 143.2 (my lowest ever in a long time!) : )
144.5 : )
Down a pound and a half! 146.2
Just weighing in at 147
: )
Add me in! This past week has been a "breakthrough" week for me with the weight loss starting to happen a bit easier : )
I'm now 147.8 (down from 156.5 two months ago) and my new goal is 142. ...
I don't expect there would be much of a temperature gradient across the surface of the pool, since it would be fairly well mixed by all the swimmers, but if there was one, cold water is more dense...
Thanks for posting these! It's a great little motivation.
Final weight was 150.8 - I made it about halfway to my target, which is a good start. : )
Cheers,
Katie
150.5, halfway
:)
I'm at 156.... off to a slow start, but I'm loving this motivation. : )
Add me too! I weighed in today at 156.5, and my goal for the end of February is 145. Thanks for doing this! ;)
I really like my Shebeest boardrider capris - light weight material, comes with a liner short with chamois that can be detached from the capri. I think it looks pretty great and is very comfortable,...

I just moved to Victoria this spring, and have just started exploring. I bought a book called "Bike Victoria" that I've based a few rides on. I am planning to bike around some of the Gulf islands...
My brother, as it turns out, is just as big a wool fan as I... he introduced me to Swobo wool cycling apparel over the holiday. Does anyone have any Swobo, and what do you think of it? My brother...
I've done a couple of shorter (3-day) self-contained tours in the last year - I highly recommend the finger lakes region to you. We started in Ithaca, biked north along the western side of a lake,...
I've been working on acquiring this skill that I formerly have appreciated from afar, and made some progress recently by weighting my fork and then quickly unweighting and lifting up at the same...
Happy to hear that you have your good steering back - what a difference to ride with a bad headset and then fix it. A new appreciation for that part of the bike has been gained here. DebW, is once...
After a week of scary steering, I started researching headsets.
Decided that I could do it myself (with my handy friend's help!) and bought a beautiful blue 1 1/8 threadless Chris King headset. ...
If you check out sierratradingpost.com right now, they have the blue version available in size small, and a natural/black version in sizes large and XL for $80...vs. $115 on the ibex website...
I have the small messenger, and it's a great size for commuting to work most days (95% of the time). Every once in a while, like when I want to take my laptop, gym clothes, and a lunch, I can't fit...
My Specialized shims arrived this week - they were so easy to put in, and it has made a huge difference. I did my first road ride where I did not have extremely sore hands afterwards. Wonderful! :D
I love Ibex so much... I discovered it last summer and have become an addict - I am embarrassed by how much Ibex I have acquired, but it is all astounding in terms of heat regulation (I used to get...
