I have a nook and absolutely love it. I chose the nook over all others because of the ability to share books with friends. I don't think the ipad or Kindle offer that ability.

I just rest my unclipped foot on the pedal while approaching the stop. I can still pedal a little if needed.
I still have my gall bladder but occasionally suffer from painful episodes. My cure is.... baking soda. I desolve about 2-3 teaspoons in a cup or so of water and gulp. It's kind of like drinking...
I'll ride in the heat any day... along with iced water in the Camelbak. Once I break a sweat, it's cool sailing... so to speak.
Winter rides... not intersted!
Nook was the way to go for me. I LOVE the fact that you can share all your books with ANY OTHER nook user--any even niftier way to SAVE MONEY. You can now purchase a Nook for $149.
P.S. Wanted to add that the add does not time out for when your bike is stopped, so your time and average speed may be a little different from your bike computer. Still overall, a great app!
