On Saturday my husband and I did the Hotter N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls, TX. We did the 100 mile route. We didn't stop until the 40 mile rest stop, skipped the 50 mile stop and then stopped at...
My husband and I were there also. We did the 100 miles. This was our 9th year. The weather this year was GREAT! Sept. 8th we will be doing the Enchanted Circle Century in Red River, NM.
I'm glad yesterday made it a closer race. Also glad Cavendish won his 25th!
What a mess at the finish line today! I bet they make sure all of the banners are high enough for a bus from now on! And all of the top sprinters crashing:(
My husband and I rode in the "Bike MS Ride the Rim" this weekend. 105 miles on Saturday and 25 miles on Sunday. This was our first MS ride. It was tough, but we had fun.
This will be me and my husband's 9th year to do the HH100. I am hoping it is not as WINDY this year! Last year was BRUTAL!

Anyone else doing this on Sunday. My husband and I will be going. This will be our 4th time.
It's in the mountains of New Mexico.
We did the Hotter 'N Hell Hundred in Wichita Falls, Tx yesterday. It was not that hot, but the wind was brutal!

I would love to be there! Maybe some day.
My husband and I also thought it was a rather boring tour.
I can take a lot of heat. So it doesn't really bother me.
Another cyclist in our area was killed today by someone texting and driving:( This has got to stop!
We ride on 287 sometimes between Dumas and Amarillo. It has very wide good shoulders.
I am doing my first half in the morning:eek:
LOL! The next day I said, "Well, I might do it next year."
This is a killer century for me! This was my 4th time to do it, but it may be my last! I think I said that last year too:).
This ride is in Red River, NM. We did get to see a bear. A bear cub ran...
How did you do? They say it was 76 degrees when we started at 6:15am. The high was 109. I read that the pavement heat was 130. I can take a lot of heat, so it didn't feel that hot to me. Our average...
My husband and I did the "Hotter 'N Hundred" in Wichita Falls, TX. It was 76 when we started at 6:15am and 107 when we finished at 2:15pm.
Yeah, the no coverage was a bummer.
