Could also start a new fresh thread drift? nah.
Lise, yeah. Very glad about the Dad being involved. Ya know no matter what the kids do goes on (I thought I'd seen the littlest kid teasing Mae once through the patio gate, now know that's true) if the dog has simply had enough...dog always looses that fight.
Told the kids with Dad there that I'm not mad at them, just want them and my dog both to be safe. The youngest says he wants a dog so we spoke very briefly that he needs to learn how to be around dogs and not tease them before he gets one.
That could work.
It's shocking really, I live close to an elementary school and many times I'll be walking Mae if I'm at home during a week day, walk near the school, cute dog....kids have left the playground to follow me and Mae down the block  uh, go back to the school.
And the number of kids that just run full speed at her ("aaah, lookit the cute puppy!!!!") I don't think these kids learn how to approach a strange dog either (ask if it's ok, let the dog come to you not vice versa...)
