I can totally vouch for that! :DQuote:

Why is it that everytime I watch the eagle that he's laying down. I never get to see the eggs!

Of course! the other half never leaves sight of the chocolate.
You're right. Eagles are so lazy. All they ever do is lie there!
It's hard to believe they snag a fish without effort. Maybe they are just resting up ;)
Went to my friendly local body piercer (Top Tattoo in Shoreline WA) to get my nose ring adjusted. It was set up loose when I was pierced to give room for swelling and healing. Darn thing's been spinning around on me and irritating the heck out of my dainty nostril. A good sign, actually.
The dude took the ring out and it HURT. Worse than getting pierced! He bent it a bit and put it back in and it HURT AGAIN. Dang!
Now I gotta do my salt water soaks, and hope I can get it in and out by myself on Monday. (no metal in the MRI)
Rather ironic, as the nose-pierce was my celebration of 10 years cancer free.
I gave piercer dude (who had a cute baby-**** assistant) $5. His time and knowlege are valuable to me. So, how much to tip if he has to put the ring back in for me on Monday? What is the etiquette here?
WWMMD? (What would Miss Manners do?)
And do we have baby eagles yet?
Whoa! I got censored! I didn't type those ****.
Very strange. I mean, if you're not Greek and from the Isle of Lesbos, what word DO you use?
I ain't Greek.
OK, she was "baby-Sapphic".
Piercer dude talked me out of buying a hoop shaped ring for my nose, cuz the piercing is so high up (due to the cartilage) that I'd need a HUGE ring to reach around the cartilage of my schnoz. Genetics has precluded my frolicking in the wonderful world of hoops!
But nose-bones and spikes, well...
Ah, the saga continues.
Hmmm, I didn't know **** was a bad word. I wonder if you used an incorrect spelling if it would have gotten *ed. I wonder if the *ing is automatic?
Anyway, I was thinking the baby-**** was a male, so I'm glad you had to restate that.
Could you sue a titanium or niobium dealy in your nose? I'm allergic to nickel, which is in practically everything, so I'm limited to that, or PTFE.
I don't believe we are all going to die from Teflon poisoning.
I think the lazy eagles eat a lot of carrion.
And why is mom so hot all the time? Isn't the temp like 50F or something??
I'm still stumped on what the bad word is!
V.
If I'm right, it rhymes with bike!
Thanks! I hate being clueless. Probably gets censored because some people would find it offensive - not the folks in Holland though.
Have you seen the brown paper bag covering some socks here at TE?
V.
Wouldn't that be "byke"? :DQuote:

Right, those probably wouldn't be censored if they didn't have that name...
"Still stumped on the bad word"
I'm sure it was automatically censored. It was dee why kay ee.
The term baby-**** is used affectionatly by those of us who remember how horribly difficult it was (or impossible) to be "out" when we were teenagers, when we are describing a teenager of today's more permissive society.
Queen "Wouldn't that be "byke"? :D"
does that make me a dike on byke? around here we've used "bats for the other team" so I never knew about the *'s, or could use the ever popular "she wears sensible shoes". :)
Are Sidis sensible? If they are I want 'em.
How're we going to talk about flooding on the Danube now?
Don't worry knotted, think it won't let you call anyone Richard Head either for example.
wondering if friendly local body piercer can be abrivieted as friendly LBP?
Ah, kids these days, sounds of Trek feebly tottering over "you kids have it so easy. Why back in my day when I was your age, had to ride 130 miles through the snow to watch Ellen, and we could only watch her in a paper bag in the middle of the road..." Not to make light of it, was pretty difficult when I was a kid, still is some places...
Drifting back to your normal random thread....
