hush. right now! ;)
well these last few hours of pure excitement and anticipation are a special time of thier own...enjoy!!
:D IT'S HERE!!!:D
I was leaving for work at 7:30 this morning. My house is sort of funny. The garage is on one little street and the front of the house is on another little cul-de-sac street. As I was backing out of my garage  I saw FedEx at the front of my house! I couldn't leave the package there all day.
I quickly pulled back into the garage, ran through the house and drug the box in to check it out.
The bike is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Much better condition than I dreamed or imagined it could be. No rust, very few scratches, even the tires look new. The pictures did not do it justice. It is far better than it was described.
I can't wait to get it together, take a spin and check it out. I'm thrilled!!!!!! Pictures later. :)
much, much better than my instincts.
I don't know about the honey saddle. Black would probably look better. And you were right, the bottom of the fork is not black. It's chrome. Handlebars will have to be changed. I didn't bother taking the packing off of the bars yet. I'll see what my LBS has. The Dove Bars also look interesting.
There is some dust and dirt and it needs a good cleaning. What is the best thing to use? Simple Green?
and yes, Lisa, the tires do need a good scrubbing, even though they appear to be pretty new. They have some dirt on them too.
simple green is good; yes.
happy new bike. I got my new Mixte today too. Sweet Easthill rode it to my office! I wasn't concerned because we're right next to a bus stop. But instead she decided to walk the 2.5 miles to get to where her DH works to get back home. It's really a sweet bike!
Glad to hear that Sandra has got her bike, and also that mimitabby likes hers :D .
Walking is good for me, and besides, I took photos as I walked! I am surprised that no one came out to me to tell me to stop taking photos of all those secret planes being constructed :p .
