I am going to "guest teach" a class at my local training facility. Now, I love dance music but I don't think that would go over well with this group. Can you ladies post some playlists for me?? Thanks!!!!!!!

Oh...you'd be surprised what "goes over well" in a spin class. I take a spin class with a particular instructor at my gym, twice a week. She always...and I do mean ALWAYS...uses "house" music for her classes. She gets a very diverse group, too. Old, young, middle-aged, black, white, hispanic, male, female...you name it. I've never really heard anyone ever complain about her choice of music...as long as it's pumping, we don't really care. :D I say...go with the dance music. You won't be able to please everyone, all of the time anyway. ;)
Ramones--Loud and Fast. It's a greatest hits compilation and I frequently listen to it in lieu of Spinervals music when on the trainer.
Of course, don't know how the Ramones would go over in a spin class. ;)

These are great ideas! Can anyone recommend a download service other than iTunes that they've used with good results? Though I've ripped plenty of songs for my MP3 player, I've never downloaded music before :o
Thanks!
Anything by Queen...
I've been buying songs of Amazon - usually cheaper than itunes if you are only looking for single songs. It's a pain though because each one shows up individually (which is probably my own fault but I can't figure out how to change it).
Two other songs that work really well:
Girlfriend - Avril Lavigne
Hanging by a Moment - Lifehouse (great for spinning - multiple tempos to work with)
