Chance of rain 70%. Wind N at 9.
The ONE good thing is that the wind is a) light and b) will be a tailwind on the way back. So it's just a matter of staying dry. I'm going to need those Irish Coffees. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Why Beta Really Wants To Go Despite Crappy Weather
With a brevet series, you kind of have to go no matter what, because they are set up in a series of increasing distance, usually about four weeks apart, so if you miss the 300k in your area, you have to travel further, maybe really far, to get the 300k. You _could_ just skip it, but then you wouldn't qualify for a 1200k race, if that was your goal, (Boston-Montreal-Boston is held this year, and next year will be Paris-Brest-Paris, which is only held every four years) and even if you didn't want to qualify for a 1200k (and who knows, but the time you're qualified, you might want to do it, even if you didn't think it was possible back when you did the 200k) you still would probably want to earn the Super Randonneur Award by doing the 200k, 300k, 400k and 600k all in one year.
