the 4 pounds that left me on DMD. If anyone should find them, please keep them or pass them on to someone else who could use them.
Thanks!

I found 2 of 'em. Who has the remainder?
I lost three. who ever found mine can keep them too!
Well, I didn't see them anywhere on the side of the road... :D Perhaps they just left in disgust and won't be coming back.
Well I didn't even hurl them away. They just left on their own.
V.
It was Mines Road. Scared the bejeebers out of them. I lost one there myself and I was just sitting on my butt in the car. :p
Maybe they are all together having a party, eating nachos and drinking beer.
V.
Would that we were - oh wait, you mean them. Okay then....
Well, having them gone will make the Mt. Tam Double just that much more fun. Not that I am trying to push you into it or anything...
I want to do Tam. I guess I'm just a little gun shy about committing after DMD. I really thought I had it in me to finish - slowly, but to finish. Shall we say the confidence level has taken a bit of a hit.
I'll get over it. :)
V.
You'll get over it. Have fun at Davis. Do a few 200ks. You'll be fine for Tam. You could do it now. The sustained climbing is over with after you do Tam. After that, there aren't any climbs that I can recall that are more than about 4 miles long, and most are shorter.
Of course, in retrospect, childbirth is looking like a magical experience....
LOL! Crazy girl! Of course you're a great mom so you have my permission to have more.Quote:

Yeah - you are in a position to see the best and worst, I'm sure.... I can just imagine some of what you see from what I see just volunteering at school and working field trips. And what I hear from PP.Quote:

Kids aren't perfect - who is? But in my "perfect" world, they would have compassion for others and a sense of responsibility hard wired into them. I don't care if they can't spell goes (gose) or tell me what 3 X 7 is if they have those other traits.

Mine are sneeking back because the bike is missing. :( Oh well, the bike'll be back soon. That'll scare'em off. :)
I just sent you the tracking number, sorry for any delay. :o
Ah, THAT"S what they were doing this morning on my scale!!! Thanks, I'll just send them down the road.
Now it's five that have gone AWOL. :D Maybe I just need to ride that course every week.
V.
Mine seem pretty content to stay. Maybe if I cut back on the cupcakes they'll get upset and leave. ;) Muscle weigh more than fat. Maybe they're just going through an identity crisis and are considering turning into muscle...just maybe...
Thanks for the contribution to my rapidly growing thighs and ***, V. ;)
they moved to Arizona and attached themselves to MY hips!!
And they brought friends too!!! Dang YOU!!! Keep in in CA where they belong! ha ha ha ha
Not your fault. My fault for not sending "reply all" when you wrote to check the address. Also my own fault for not spending more time at the gym. Have had two killer workouts at spin class this week and will put in a round at the gym on Sunday. Gotta get in shape for when Ol' Clunky gets here over the weekend. And gotta get those pounds back off and more with'em before the Janesville Pie Ride. ;)Quote:

In California, I'm guessing. Which is where my "missing" bike was all along. I, meanwhile, am in Wisconsin. But thanks for the offer. Luckily, said bike is now on its way and will be here soon.Quote:

He's about the same as me. He's just at 5' 8". Still never having met V and T in the flesh, I couldn't make a comparison.
He gave his mountain bike away a few years ago to a family who really needed it and he's been without mtb since then. He's thinking of getting one to ride on the trails with Jonathan and to be able to hitch the kid-trailer to. The chainstays on our road bikes are short for the hitching attachment.
Edited to say, "Duh." I guess they must belong to V and T. Heh. I'm challenged.
Geez... I've been a little busy here, riding my butt off and all. Hope to get them on Sunday. :p
V.
Darn, I was thinking I could make a little money.
Poor slinke, we got her hopes up. Sorry. :o
Did somebody hit "reply all" with the extra poundage? It seems to have landed up here in Illinois, too!
there are about 5 attached to my rear/middle after a week in the new job, 2 hours in the car a day, 10 hours at a desk per day and 1 wreck (I'm OK, car is not). UGH! Not a good week.
At least tomorrow looks OK for riding - we're going from sunny and 80 tomorrow (which I've had the privilege to look out at all day every day from my wall of windows that won't open in my over-conditioned "box") to raining and 55 on Sunday. UGH!
Sorry for the rant - it's been a bad week:(
