Much like round one - no nausea. Muscle and joint pain kicked in a day or so later, soooo uncomfortable. I've found that taking an Ativan seems to help, I guess because it relaxes me. I sleep a lot during this time, which is fine. All my hair has come out, it came out in huge chunks so I found my clippers and shaved it off. It wasn't as traumatizing as I thought, it was more of a relief.
One more chemo session to go!

Thank you all! I'm beginning to feel more human, the aches and pains have subsided finally! I'm going to take my dog in to try the anesthesia free teeth cleaning today. We shall see which of us survives. :D
your attitude is wonderful Snap. The teeth cleaning for your dog sounds like it may be more traumatizing than shaving your head!

Thanks spokewench, I learned about attitude from a couple of friends with breast cancer. One was very positive, the other not so much. Guess who recovered quicker?
The teeth cleaning was a big fail, she wouldn't let them hold her down or look in her mouth. Oh well, had to try. :D
Not to giggle at your situation... but the mental image on "no anesthesia" teeth cleaning cracked me up big time! :p

It was kinda funny. Chloe has weak back legs, so I put her in a shopping cart at the store. The look on her face was priceless, kinda like "Finally! I am being chauffeured like the queen I am". I filled out the paper work for the teeth cleaning, and they wheeled her into the room. Within a couple of minutes I here her let out a loud "BARK"! Next thing you know, they're wheeling her out in her chariot. "She won't let us near her mouth" The dog had a very smug look on her face.Quote:
