FS Bianchi Eros Donna 44

I put her up for sale last year and didn't get any offers worth taking ($400!). She is in excellent health but depressed from lack of riding. I have had her since 2004 and through a series of injuries have not been able to ride her much. I doubt that there are even 1500 miles on her. Here is a stock pic, I will send pics to anyone who wants them, just email me.

PS I am keeping my brooks saddle. Not even sure what a reasonable price would be. Suggestions?

You were looking at the right model. Cromoly frame, carbon fiber fork and mirage components. If I am not mistaken, it was the first year that model was made in Taiwan. My computer is not playing fair tonight so I can't post pics but I will soon. I think I asked $900 obo last year. She is like new and I can't let her go too cheap, but I will consider reasonable offers.

If I were living in the US, I would be very tempted. Is it the Mango color? I still want to see the pics, just to drool...

I have the 2006 version of this bike. I love mine. Good luck finding a new home for her.

I do love this bike. I hurt my shoulder though and since then, I cannot get comfortable for any length of time on this bike. It's been more than a year so I have to either go recumbent or ride totally upright on my comfort bike. :rolleyes:

I've been looking for one of these for ages! It is for my best friend, who is still riding a bike I cobbled together from spare parts our senior year of college. My friends and I organized a fund for her birthday to get her a new bike this year, but since she is rather small I've been hoping to find an Eros Donna. Sell it to meeeee!

Don't think I haven't thought of that! :D But I already have one bike there, and as little as it looks like we'll be visiting, I just can't justify the cost. :( If I were still working and had a nice salary coming in, I would go for it, but since I am living on savings... I just can't go there.

You should post an actual photo of the bike being sold, (stock photo, etc.) in the thread. That would probably help. I know if you click on your profile you can view some, but people are lazy. *shrugs*

Most people don't want to message too much back and forth. They want to "see" first. Serious buyers might be slightly antsy about not seeing a picture in the thread.

Bianchi's are awesome. If I had extra cash, I'd be tempted. Post a photo and who knows. Best of Luck! :D

I still have my beautiful bike. I am moving to an area with mixed dirt/cement roads. I need a bike that will accomodate wider wheels. I will definately consider a trade. This bike is awesome, just not right for me now.

no, no. a bike surprise is a bad idea. I had her try out some bikes that fit closely. And she really wanted a Bianchi. She loves the color.

That's awesome, Mimi! I seriously considered buying this bike and having it shipped to my mom's, even though I am in Belize. Ultimately I just couldn't justify it at this time. I am glad someone else bought it so I don't have to contemplate it any longer! I hope your sister will have many happy (s)miles on it!
