well, I have a Strada as well
Momon Bike has a Sun Ez something
EvanGundy has an Easy Racer Ti-Rush. she even let me ride it
TSPoet has a Giro and a trike.
I think there's a TE in Iowa with another Strada.
You've got some real classics there with the Linear and the Ryan:)

Yeah, I know they're more expensive. and If you're like , you'll think I'll get one tomorrow" but tomorrow has a a habit of not showing up....
I came upon the Ryan and the Linear through Craigslist and they were both a steal. I had no idea the history and reputation of the Ryan then started digging into it. I was quite happy with my 'find.' They're both very fun rides. Mostly little kids and teens tend to shout out as I ride by, "hey, cool bike." Makes me smile. :DQuote:

Yeah, I have a Sun EZ Sport. That's the one with the curvy top tube - it has that 50's era Cadillac look to it that really appeals to me.
It appeals to others, too. Specifically, the far-too-cool-for-their-own-good young males around here. I get lots of "Cool bike" comments from them. One guy in a really cool car grinned and flashed me a hand sign that I took to be approval. I'm old and uncool. I just grinned back.
DH rides one too. This winter, a squirrel made a mess of his seat, so he has been riding his upright to work until we get it fixed. He came back the first day muttering something about "infernal machines."
Just thought I might mention that hubby is selling his Trice 'Q' if anyone knows anyone that's interested.

Yes, you must come over sometime and test ride all three of them. They each have their own pros and cons. We'll ride on the W&OD, one behind the other and get some smiles and stares.Quote:

The Carbent seat is too laid back for me; I prefer to be more upright.
I've ridden with Bill Cook, the former owner of Barcroft Cycles. He's a very nice guy. I was surprised to learn that he sold the company in Sept. 2009.
It takes a while to get used to(having the seat laid back). I've also got the EuroMesh seat on my Giro
Dana's a pretty good guy, too. That's his personal Carbent.

Saw the TiRush in one of your photos. Reminded me of the time I owned a Tour Easy. For some reason, the positioning of my handlebars caused pain in my hands. I tried readjusting the handlebars various ways but just couldn't get it right, so I sold it to a guy in Ohio. I've also owned a Bike-E. I think just about every recumbent owner starts out on a Bike-E.
I recently purchased a Linear 3.0 and am new to recumbent riding so am glad to find this thread......I have a lot to learn!
Don't you just love the underseat steering? It's such a comfortable position with your hands at rest by your side.
