she's fine, talking to her now on the phone :) between school, job hunting and the new baby (puppy) she's been busy.
Whew! Was getting worried. Thanks.
Hi gang! And thanks for checking in... i appreciate it.
So, as Trek420 informed, I've been job hunting so I can carry my load once school starts (the old "living" savings is kaput). Additionally all the school forms are coming in hot and heavy. And just to top it all off, my roomie got a bad case of puppy-itis that no amout of logic from me could assuage.
She (and therefore, we) were offered a 13 wk old, AKC registered, mini Schnauzer for FREE. A friend had flown to Kansas to pick up her 2nd mini pup (great breeder) and a slightly older pup had gone to home that decided it didn't want her. The pup, female, beautiful show quality (though we ain't showin' or bredding) accompanied our friend and her pup home from Kansas.
And now the introduction... this, ladies, is Sydney:
Sydney is so beautiful! I had a mini that I had to put to sleep last year. Boy do I miss that dog . . . Enjoy!
Awwww Spazz, Sydney is a beautiful pup! What a great addition to your family. Give her some ear scratchys for me K?
Well, now we see what's tempting you away from the forum! Big awwww factor there.
We spent about a week with friends in Oregon who have 2 female minis. They were awfully sweet and quite the moochers, had that down pat!
awwwwwwwwwwww. :)
Silly girl!Quote:

She is precious. Good luck w/the job hunt and school and all you've got going on!
she is beautiful!! Sydney's my youngest granddaughter's name & she's quite fiesty (at 2!) and fearless (kinda like her Nana) ;)
I know you'll enjoy her!
Oh! What an adorable puppy. Sydney is such a great name also. Enjoy her!
She's a cutie, that's for sure...
I need to win the lotto so we can cut pretenses and just have an animal farm  . It gets pretty interesting here with our now 4 dogs and 2 kitties when the friends come over (Amani and Sophie, also mini schnauzers). Sophie and Sydney tear thru the house like crazy grrl pups and all the older dogs duck for cover. None of my original 3 dogs will play with the pups... but Stormy the cat seems to be having a good time :D
so when are you getting the doggie carrier so she can go riding with you?? ;)
4 doggies & 2 kitties in a trailer....get the camcorder charged up!!!!!
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
You can always put her on your back!Quote:

*bump* spoke to Spazz yesterday, she's fine just overloaded with courses and homework. She loves school, who knew that would happen? She will be up for air during the next semester break, sends hugs to all TE, checks her e-mail occaisionaly so if you e-mail her she might respond.
Thanks! When is that semester break? Should we plan a party?
SadieKate "Should we plan a party?"
The party may be here, she still plans to do the Cinderella of be here around then. So look for a 2nd annual west coast TE dinner. :)
Snap removes CFO hat and puts on party planner hat.... :DQuote:

I wanted to thank everyone for keeping me in their thoughts forum wise.
Also to the admin and those of you who sent those very cute birthday greetings... it made turning 50 oh so much fun! Thank for that.
School is great, but it is kicking my butt. Who knew there was math involved in Astronomy 101? Jeesh!
And next time I say I'm taking two law courses at the same time, somebody just shoot me. All in all though, things are going OK. I think I'll survive. Two mid-terms this week... got a 92 in my Constitutional Law mid-term (yee-ha!), hopefully this week will be as good.
After the mid terms I have two big ol' papers to do for Const. Law... one is professor's choice and one is mine. It is "Posse Comitatus and It's Historical Abuse by the Executive Branch?"... don't that sound oh so smart?
Any who, gotta run! Just wanted to drop in, give everybody a big hug and go to bed. Emails are welcome... can't gaurantee quick response, but it's great to hear from you guys. As for 2006 Cindarella... may be a schedule problem. Spring break is the week BEFORE Cindy, and Spring term midterms are tentatively scheduled for the week of return from break. I won't know for sure until into the Jan term, but I'll keep you posted. Pray for forgiving syllabi...
Hugs and big wet smoochees!

Calling for a family portrait here including the humans!
Re Cindy ride- of course we'd love to have you here BUT.... school comes first!
We'll manage, but it won't be the SAME! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Good luck on your tests and check in when you can!
I talked to Spazzdog yesterday, she's pulling down straight A's in school and working...at UPS at night. Says she's tired but doing well and when she's out here should be in great shape from UPS. She says hi to all.
Tell her "well done", Trek. She has my utmost respect for what she's doing. :) :)
