It's usually easy to shop for my finance, but I'm a little hung up this year. I'm looking for a couple of gifts under $100 for him. He loves any kind of gadget, follows pro cycling, and does both road and mountain biking. Any ideas?

I know for us it is going to be a tight budget for Christmas 2009, that and we are buying him a new bike in February. So when I was thinking of gifts for this year I decided on a subsription to a cycling magazine and a new cycling calendar. Two things that I know that he will love without having to go into the LBS. I have toyed with the idea of getting a few energy bars/snacks to go in his stocking and a pair of socks. :) Too bad I cannot fit a new Pinerallo in his stocking. LOL
Only $2.00, these candy jellies. :)
http://www.teamestrogen.com/prodSU_94977U_0.html I was looking at these for my DH.
I got this infinity mpg shirt for my partner for his birthday - http://www.threadless.com/product/562/Infinity_MPG
A subscription to a bike magazine and some cycling socks would be a nice, inexpensive gift.
:D Granville Market. There's a candy store..near a cheese shop.
I better run over and get another one..:);)
Get some for me too would you? Those are cute:D
How about one of these...

I own this and love it!
Since the new bici is coming, he'll want to keep it looking beautiful and clean.
There are some other bike cleaning products you could include in this theme idea as well.
Most guys love tools... bici gadget tools, bonus prize.
Happy Shopping.:)
Check out the bicycling magazines thread, there are some good suggestions there.

Thanks shooting star! I'll go check it out this weekend!
Thanks, everyone! I actually ended up buying him a bicycle tie from zazzle.com (search for cycling). They are hundreds of bike related gifts.
in case you need another random male cycling gift, I've always been fond of the park tools bbq grilling tool set:

They also have a bottle opening tool and a pizza tool
Ivona..Those BBQ tools are soooo cooll!!!! I just have to find out if a bike shop here can get me some...
Well, for my cycling guy I took some pics of his bike, enlarged them, and are framing them. I am going to see if I can upload a few....mmm. I am not sure how to resize them to be manageable? Anyhow, I did them in black and white...they wound up being awesome.
For a cycling friend, I bought the Campy corkscrew (amazon, search for Campagnolo corkscrew).
I did the pic thing for my lieutenant for his birthday and they were great.
This thread was great motivation. I managed to find some a reasonably good selection of energy bars and—gasp—gels, which will make great stocking stuffers. I know it doesn't sound like much, but here in Chile we just don't get much in the way of cycling goodies. I'm quite pleased I found a new source.
I just called my LBS and ordered the barbecue set. It will be here Friday! Thanks for that tip!

I took a black sheet and tacked it up on the wall and put another on the floor. It was on a wall that was adjacent to my big southern window. When the sun was coming through the shutters, I used the low light portrait setting on my camera (I am NO professional) and took a million pics of the components. The best one was of the crankset....his bike is a Cannondale in the Team Toyota colors, it had stars that stream along the chainstay. His tires are Mavic Cosmos. It was a closeup of the crank, the stay, and the edge of the tire, and the Cosmos logo is just barely visible along the edge of the stars. I printed four of the best pics in black and white, got them matted and framed, and he loved them. LOVED them.
If anyone wants to see them, send me a message and I will email them to you, the file is too big to attach here.
Duh!!! My avatar pic over there is it! Wow. This is what happens to me when I am working nights. My ability to be coherent becomes nil.
Last year I got two of the bike chain photo frames and put cycling pics of dh in them. I was lucky enough to have a few good "action" shots to choose from. He loved it.
