I haven't had any time for checking out the forum with all the training, work and life demands so it's been hard to get psyched. I'm finally starting to get excited.
So... is anyone else racing on November 22nd?

:D:D:D:D:D:D
I was just wondering if anyone would be racing (nope - not me). Good luck, and please keep us posted!!!!
We look forward to the number assignment so we can obsessively track your day!! ;)
Good luck Wahine! :D
Wish I were there with you. Have a GREAT race and enjoy the day!!!! We'll be thinking of you and watching for you all day long. What is your bib # (if you don't mind sharing that).
Your TE family will be cheering you on from all over the world. Good luck!!!! :D:D:D:D
I don't have my bib number yet. I tried to find it on line but no success. I should go back and try again.
I am excited but I also feel very under trained. It's been a tough year. However, the day will bring what it will and I'm sure it will be a good experience. Thanks to all of you for your support.:D:D:D
And seconds later.... she has her bib number. It's 2497. I always try to find fun patterns or associations with my race numbers. This time I got nuthin'!
Hey Honey!!
I got your email, just have had a cluster of a week!
I will be out there watching the race, so it's nice to know that you are racing.
Will email you for sure!!
And if there are any last minute bike needs, let me know. I'd be glad to send one of the boys out for a "house call" for ya!
Safe travels down here!

2x4=8 which is right between 9 and 7 and for some reason this one came to mind 3x8=24 and again 8 is right between 9 and 7 and there are 3 legs in a tri. Sorry, if this makes no sense but I've been drinking and eating comfort food.
Have a great race!
Thanks Jones! Actually, my boyfriend came up with the exact 2x4=8 thing when I told him. It's gotta be a lucky number then.;):D
Thanks for sharing your bib number. Now I can watch you online (and maybe be lucky enough to catch you cross the finish line).
Woo hoo!!!!
My brother-in-law is racing! Now I get to follow 2 people.
Have a great race, Wahine!
I was doing math with your numbers- I'm very bad at math.
2x4=8 + 1 =9
2x4=8 -1 =7
think it's time for bed.....
I was thinking more along the lines of 24/7 is how you've been preparing for this - physically and mentally - and the "9" inside has to have some significance for you.
I like it Oak!! 9 is a very lucky number in Chinese culture. I'm not Chinese but I have studied traditional Chinese medicine. :D
I can't WAIT to hear how it goes! We wil all be thinking really positive thoughts for you!
Good luck, Wahine! One of the gals in our office is flying down to watch the race. She has friends racing. (And, given the weather we're having, it'll be a great escape, too!)
Looking forward to a race report.
Susan
Good luck this weekend Wahine!!
Have fun out there, girl!
Have a great race!
I turned 24 in '97.
I'm told in Chinese culture that should have been a good year for me . . . in hindsight it was a pretty tough year. I challenged myself, perhaps overextended myself, but I grew a lot.
She's out of the water in 1:13:32. Go Wahine!

too sick to make it out to the swim start, so tracking from home. Wahine is doing great!! Hopefully she remembered the lip balm on the bike..:p
GO WAHINE GO!!!
Why would you put lip balm on a bike? What part of the bike? Top tube? Head badge? Maybe on the seat.
Boy, you triathletes are weird ;) I know about lipstick on a pig but lip balm on a bike? :p ;)
Go, Wahine, Go!!
