I really like TE, cause it's female only, but my "homeforum" is cyclechat.co.uk and I used to spend loads of time on friendly ferret when I still had my carpetshark...
Just wondered what everbody elses favourite fora are - cycling related or not...

I am often over at the BNA forum, having a giggle. www.bicycles.net.au
What's a carpetshark?
A Ferret! :D
Ooo how cool!!!
On a 'builders' forum :o :D We have a forum where people who are building or remodelling a house give advice and share experiences. And they helped me A LOT!
And it has a very good off topic section where we can talk about anything. Funny thing is, I've met quite a few of the members and they've become good friends. :D
And a forum called Femistyle, which is a bit simular like TE, but it talks about almost everything. Very big discussions sometimes, but still fun to hang around.
And there's wielertoerist the belgian male version of TE, but very female friendly.
Hi,
Cycling:
The Bike Forums is my favorite place - there's many members so often you get a lot of info by posting there. Also a lot of local info about rides, races etc specific to your State. And I hang out on the Bianchi forum.
Non-Cycling:
Work-related stuff, and the martial arts planet and some other martial arts boards.
I'm on a few other forums including one for artists, one that supports my political affinity and one for baby boomer women. But this is my main hangout.
The Lounge @ Roadbikereview :D Beets!!!!!!
I also hang out at www.beginnertriathlete.com and the bikeforums.net. I mostly lurk at www.slowtwitch.com. They're a little too cuthroat for me to post but they can be entertaining. Lastly, I visit www.dogforums.com in the morning with my coffee.
Haha, this is funny - actually the reason I like bike forum a bit better is exactly because it's more mixed, so we get more men opinions too... so I thought it was a really cool thing that we are starting to see some men here on TE - and was sort of hoping to see more male cyclists joining this forum in the future... :)
But then they'd need to change the name to Team Testostrogen.com.
Also bikeforums. And backyardchickens.com because I have a suburban flock and quail. One for my rockhound tendencies, and also ones for astrology, heirloom tomatoes, and lampworking. Geez, I spent way too much time on the computer!!
Bikeforums.net (hi overthere!) and I lurk at a border collie board. Then there's local stuff for my city and neighborhood. I'd like to check out some gardening forums and perhaps old house forums, but I don't really have the time at the moment.
I've often found BikeForums (especially the A&S folder) to be a lot like the newspapers here in Arkansas. If you read their advice, and then go out and do exactly the opposite, things usually turn out okay.
MTBReview is another good one to hang out in...
Like many others I am also on BikeForums. Other than that I am on a couple of motorcycle forums.
Classic Rendezvous and i-Bob for bikey stuff, then a few Bernese Mtn Dog arenas.
A couple of coffee forums, BikePortland, and a gardening forum on occasion.
This is the only place I kind of 'hang out'...but I do check in on one very small personal forum that I belong to that developed from a wedding planning site (7 years ago!) and another forum about Peak Oil.
I also belong to a huge fitness forum (predominantly videos), but I haven't actually checked in there in a few months now.
Oh, and I've been lately doing some reading at the Normal Eating forums, too.
mighty mites forum (small performance dogs)
North. Am. MINI forum
beginnertriathlete.com
A bulldog group on Yahoo. We talk about slobber a lot.
I used to spend a lot of time on priuschat.com. I learned a lot of good stuff about my car. I stopped checking it about a year ago but have been meaning to get back to it. They have a good off-topic forum, too.
Not really any other forums, except for a small private group with mothers of children with autism. And Facebook. Does that count? :D
A little bit on Facebook, a forum for people who have had neck/back issues and or surgery. I lurk on bikejournal and bike forums and a local Yahoo group for the San Jose City Hall falcons.
Some other person named snapdragen hangs out on Roadbike Review....:p
I check Facebook regularly and also follow a bunch of people on Twitter (Lance, Levi, Ted King, George Hincapie, Phil and Paul, Livestrong, etc.).
Before eBay wrecked it, I was a reg at the Bidding Board.
Still, I'm in contact with some of my biddie buddies.
