I have to ask: If bicycles are not allowed on METRO subway trains during rush hour, why are strollers?
Because parenting is socially acceptable, but cycling is not.......
Folding bikes are allowed at all times. It's hard, though, to maneuver a folding bike in a bag (required) plus a pannier or two.
babies potentially die if left unattended and bikes never do?
I just seem to perpetually have grease on my legs or pants lately.
I guess I could do something about it or switch lubes or something... but... I don't really care.
Her brother seems to take delight in beating her down, belittling all her accomplishments, etc. I think with him away she will come into her own.

Why do big brothers have to be that way??
I know the feeling.

I have THREE big brothers. Imagine my life. I think it either made me tough or very short
I've found big sisters to be just as much "fun."
But I expect Sammi's big brother is nearing the age where he'll start to ease up on her.
Three big brothers, two big sisters. But the large age difference between me and the one sister and all the brothers probably made a huge difference. They all pampered me. :) It's taken me many years and one PhD to get treated like an equal. Some days I'd trade a few of them in on a dog, but most of the time, I'm glad my folks just kept having kids. ;)
Three older brothers and one older sister for me. And I'm also the baby of the family. Two of my brothers who are 1 year and 2 years older than me like to tell their kids that the reason that I am successful in life is because I survived getting picked on constantly and even survived getting pounced on by them. They claim that it made me tough so I can handle anything. :p
