Oh I wish! I would die for a Wasabi!
I wish I had one for frequent trips to Port A. We rented some last fall when we went and had a blast. We plan on renting them again in two weeks.
I found her in my parents' garage...

That's a nice cruiser and the garden is pretty too!
Any other fans of beach cruiser coolness? Post pictures.
Here's my yard sale find.... $11 (plus considerably more having it made rideable again (eeeek! No brakes!!!). I used the Schwinn Serial number chart from OldRoads to place the bike to 1982 (I think).
The bike is actually a bear to ride. It's a tank (and I've grown used to a featherweight bike and a freewheel cassette...no back cranking to position your leg to start up with this thing). I actually can't ride it up my driveway from a stop...and I don't have a steep driveway. :o
It really needs a dead-flat path to shine. Sadly, my rolling neighborhood is not the place for it. But it is cool, tho......

Ooh, it's darling - candy apple red and all those swoops and curves! Great find!

I sat on a beautiful bright pink Electra Townie 3 at REI today. The price tag: $410.
From Craigslist, $300:

The one I'm on is a Townie Electra 3 speeds. The grey one is a Marin, one speed. Awesome bikes! I wish we had a pair, but really in this city (Vancouver) they are not practical unless you live on the beach directly...
While not technically a beach cruiser, i have ridden this on the beach. The one in front (the FairLady) is mine and the rear one is the BF's. I think they are both either late 60s or early 70s if i remember correctly...

Grog, what was the special occasion? Very nice!
Are the flowers real?
Grog, we did the same for our wedding. We left at night on mountain bikes. My dress was pretty big though. I still don't know how i did that without getting grease every where! I'll have to dig up the picture. I was very cool! I like yours a lot. You look beautiful.
