Problem: Long Torso, Short Jerseys....
Hey Ladies!
First off I'll introduce myself as I'm new to the forum.
My name is Rachel. I am a newly-wed from ND. My husband and I decided to tackle our first triathlon season ever this summer starting with sprint distances. Running has been our primary sport up to this point so adjusting to the swimming and biking has been a delightful challenge. I'm looking forward to really engaging with the sport(s) though! :) It's been great so far.
Unfortunately riding outdoors hasn't been all that possible in the past months due to snow and a spring that is slow coming. We keep fluxing between 30-70 degrees with chances of snow off and on. It's a bit annoying.
Anyway, in hopes of warm weather I found myself in the cycling department of the local sporting store earlier this week looking for a jersey.
I would like to get something that is sleeveless as I have a T-shaped torso with somewhat broad-shoulders. My main problem though is that as with most athletic apparel I have difficulties being able to find tops long enough. So far jerseys have been no exception.
After trying on about six different brands, I decided I should do some research before looking again.
So,
If you could point me in the direction of some brands that offer longer length jerseys I'd really appreciate it!
That way I can "cheat" and try on those brands around here to make sure they fit properly before ordering them off this website.
Oh, I thought I'd note that Terry is offering a cycling "tunic" this season which I did try on and that is definitely long enough (not to mention cute), but it's probably not something I'd wear on a regular basis. It is a great design though.
Thanks for the help!
