Breakfast before big ride
If I am doing an organized ride, like a century, I generally just do Cytomax pre-ride mix- stir it up, drink, and go! While driving to the event, I often have a bar or banana. I also start drinking liquids- diluted juice (1/8 bottle juice the rest water). Even if I have to go to the bathroom before I start, at least I am hydrated! AND, I also start drinking right away on the ride. :)
If I am doing a long ride with my friends-
Boiled egg, Wheat toast, tea with milk. Then when I start riding- start drinking and munch on some kind of bar within the first 1/2hour of riding. Thereafter, drinking and bar eating will carry me for about 3 hours at which point it would be nice to have lunch! :)
