Amici Veloci Orders//Update

Just a head's up to anyone in the US who placed an order for AV gear---IT'S ON THE WAY. Went out this morning. It'll arrive via USPS. Since it's coming from Arlington, VA, the East Coasters should get their packages first.

The international orders will go out later this week (next weekend at the latest). Everything is packed, I just need to take care of the custom's forms and get back to the Post Office. I'll post a head's up after those are dispatched.

The stuff I ordered is very, very nice. Only change is the new logos, which look great. Everyone should be pleased.

Yippee!! I hope mine makes it to Texas before the weekend. We may still get to do the Big Dam Bridge. This is great news- I needed a pick me up. :)

How exciting!!!! I cannot wait. Summer temps are coming back this week so I am so happy I will probably get to wear my sleevless version :)

I opened mine and much to my dismay I ordered sleeveless! Ooops. Luckily it is still 90 around here, so I guess I will get to wear it this weekend (main concern with not wanting sleeveless). :D It is beautiful and I cannot believe it already arrived. Thanks Amici Veloci crew!

Yes it is spectacular and I love the material!!! I think this will be my jersey of choice tomorrow...today's was the Twin Six Team Fatty one.

C -- DH took the internat'l items to work and if time allows, will stop by the post office to mail them on his way home. I promise that they will go out by Saturday at the latest. I'll provide an update after they go out so you can be on the lookout for them.

Spectacular is the word. I got mine yesterday and I cannot believe the sharp the colors are.

I will say again, thank you so much for organizing this. I will let you know if anyone recognizes me on my rides. There are not many posts from people in my area here.

Got mine last night and OMG...LOVE them!

I got the SS jersey and while it's absolutely gorgeous (even more so than my older sleeveless jersey, if that's possible!), I'm not 100% sure about the fit. If I decide that it's not for me, I'll offer it up here to anyone who might have missed out on the order, of course.

I also got the thermal vest and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It's perfect and beautiful!!! (now...let the summer temps get lost!)

Thanks to the AV gang...once again, you guys have outdone yourselves!! :D

I missed the order deadline (new here...) and would LOVE to get a medium jersey, if anyone has one that doesn't fit quite right.

I got the socks for myself & several friends, and they're wonderful.

Catherine---Isn't that thermal vest beautiful? I got one, too, and while I don't want the colder temps to arrive, I do look forward to wearing it. ;) The multi-directional zipper is the best.

Cheryl---I knew you weren't nagging. LOL. Seriously, Brian and I didn't want to keep you all waiting for your stuff. Hopefully, once the USPS gets its in the system, it won't take long to arrive. I'll let you know, for certain, when it goes out. Hopefully, today.

I've been coveting the jerseys for awhile now, so was very happy for this opportunity to buy. I ordered the club cut sleeveless for warm weather and short-sleeved and arm warmers for colder temps. I would have loved to get the vest and jacket, too, but had budget constraints. Sigh...:(

The red is a beautiful bright shade - very visible. Love all the special design touches. Love that there is no elastic at the bottom! I was concerned about size since Voler race cut (I have several event jerseys in race cut that fit poorly), but the club cut seems fine, if a bit long. A common problem for me anyway.

Trekhawk and I can attest to the fact that an AV jersey is visible over vast distances.

She & I were riding together on LRRH in Utah last year. The speedy girls (SadieKate, aka_kim, yellow, and CindySue) took off, but occasionally we would turn a corner onto a long straight stretch of road and see, waaaay off in the distance, some bright red shapes.

Once in a while the speedy girls had to stop to fix a flat and as we approached we could start to make out the bright green chainrings and we'd know, "yep, it's them again! " :D

And I LOVE THEM!!!!!

I think I have to ride my bike to work tomorrow so I can wear my new jersey and way cool arm warmers. :)

I always like riding with Kim because then I know I won't get any flats. Come to think of it, CindySue managed to carry the torch for Kim at the SLO Wildflower.

Look for the whole gitup this weekend in Pocatello, Whydaho...all I'm missing are the shorts with the big red band across the butt (which, thankfully, don't exist). :p

The AV Jersey looks fast and I think it makes me fast! I rode today in mine and averaged 17.7 mph on a hilly ride.

Uh, I've destroyed 4 brand new tires so far this year (the last one today!). So maybe he could bring a couple of tires along too ... :o

My shipment came yesterday. I got the SS jersey, arm warmers, and the jacket, which are really great.

We are doing a memorial ride this weekend and I will wear my AV jersey and socks (probably be too warm for the arm warmers and jacket). Thanks for everyone's hard work.

I received my big box of Amici Veloci stuff yesterday. I over-ordered because I know that this was my last chance EVER.

The item I just LOVE LOVE LOVE is the long sleeve Thermasensor Ultra jersey. That thing is NICE! Also, I like the new zipper pulls.

The only problem I have is the arm length. Because my arms are so short, the words are all scrunched up at my wrists. My left arm says "XXXCI VELOCI" and my right arm says "AMICI VELXXX"

I think AV should be on the Voler site. The site shows different designs for each of the products. The Amici Veloci design is sooooo much nicer than a lot of the ones they used!
