i want one to now lol!
Cool wristband to say the least.....lovely message to read when you are halfway up a hill climb and in intense pain/dying!:D
I think that those are the best wristbands ever! Sorry, Lance...but the motivation of seeing "Harden the **** up" on your wrist has got to be great! Especially now, since it was Stuey's saying.
I want one!!!
mee too !
Well, I've already gotten an auto-response from the webshop guy at the CSC website - He's out of the office until August 1st (but "I will check my mail, sometimes during the Tour De France"). I'm going to try another contact link at the CSC site, so I'll let y'all know if I hear anything.
OMG - those are awesome! I want one too...definitely let us know what you find out!!
If CSC won't sell them, I wonder if you could get them made on your own? LOL. It would be worth it. We could do them with Amici Veloci on them, too. Maybe in purple.
"Harden the **** up!" is the tagline for Australian comic Ronnie Johns' character "Chopper", who had a special last year called the "'Harden the **** up, Australia' Tour." The Velonews article says that O' Grady brought them to the team in London, so I doubt that CSC is responsible for their production, but rather they are in some way connected to Ronnie Johns in Australia and Stuey brought them with him.
Googling "silicone wristbands" brings up plenty of choices to have your own made (and yes, I want one).
ETA: And here they are! In Australia! Group order?!?
ETA,A: I did a mock order with 30 wristbands, and the shipping charge is $12.90. The cost of the band itself is only $5.25. Might very well be worth a group order!
I'd get in on a group order for these. I'll wear it on my left wrist, since my right is already tattooed with a motivational phrase.
Hmm now thats an idea... get a tattoo of Harden the F*** up on my wrist... now wouldn't THAT shock the relatives! :)
K.
Gonna wear both together.
I'd be up for a group order...and I know a few teammates of mine who would also love to have these! Let me know if a group order comes together!!!
want this wristband - look fwd to hearing if we can get..
I want one, too. :D
You guys just don't know how to search the internet, do ya?

Unfortunately for me, the child's size is a smidge too small and the medium is ha-yooge!

I want one too!
Stuey is going to need his own advice...5 fractured ribs, a punctured lung , a broken collar bone...no worries!
Put me down for 4 of them.
If we do a group order, I'll take 1 or 2. I've seen folks do group orders here before, how are they usually arranged?
heck yeah I would get me one of those! Just what I need to keep me pushin!
I'd take 5, probably. Should we do a group order?!
That was my parents motto when I was a kid. I think my mom had done a framed cross - stitch of it.
Totally agree.
I originally won a bid for a handful of wristbands, the one I really wanted was LIVESTRONG.
When I received them, the yellow band was not amongst them.
But, there was even a better one that I now wear with pride, LIVEWRONG.
I just love it.
In future months I will keep an eye out for the Team CSC's.

If you're going to custom order them from a place other than the Ronnie Johns site, you should check that the place will put expletives on their merchandise. Some places will not deal with certain words, and "Harden the Heck Up" just doesn't have the same ring. ;) As I said before, a search for "silicone wristbands" brings up oodles of custom makers.
The Ronnie Johns site does take Paypal, so it would probably be easiest to have people send appropriate funds via Paypal to a group leader and let that person place the order. Postage from the group leader to the recipient can be figured out at the USPS site by using your zip code and then an appropriate amount for postage and envelop could be added to the total.
Looks like you can get them here
