What.
Ever.
Loser.:p
The Thin Mints arrived over the weekend!
I thought you would be excited about that! I keep poring over their latest catalog, waiting for spring. But my work is casual, so I can wear their stuff nearly every day.
V.
Oh I am excited. I love their stuff. It's just a question of debt to income ratios.
It's a great space they're opening in. It was a gallery for a while - big open space. A friend is doing the build out. It's just too close.
ETA: SK are you bringing some thin mints to the 200k or are you just taunting us?
Yeah, if I bought everything I like... My current entertainment is crossing out the things I'm not going to buy. Half the catalog is uncrossed...
V.
Well, it's a start.
It's the shoes and the skorts I really want. All of them!
V.
My brother is sending me my cookies that I bought from my niece. That is, if they don't get stolen off my porch.
V.
Feel free to ship them here. I'll deliver whatever's left.
I ran into the local crack-dealer....er Girl Scout....at the grocery store Saturday. I was very disciplined, I only bought one box of Lemonades..which are just about gone..:o
Oooh sounds yummy.
I'm a huge Samoa fan. Discovered that brand of crack in college.
I also find Samoans attractive. Connection?
It appears my Girl Scout form of crack is no longer available. I LOVE the Lemon Pastry Cremes. Alas, I have not seen them this year. It is like I am in detox. :(
Had a pusher at my door yesterday, but no lemon ice thingies, they don't make them any more
And if you move around the country you'll find that there are different bakers for the Girl Sprouts - so crack varieties may vary beyond the standard - MUST have THIN MINTS. But one place I lived I discovered THEY made theirs with chocolate cookies covered in chocolate mint. Gimme gimmee gimmee
And back in the day when I pushed crack, it was 50 cents/box.
Once upon a time someone told me the GS cookies were made by Famous Foods of Virginia (or First Foods, or Finest Foods, or something like that)
I was able to get all the GS cookies I wanted right off the shelf of my grocery store. MMmmmmm.
Can't eat any of it anymore, but I remember my elation at discovering Thin Mints right there in Safeway!:p
