ok a couple more. The last photo here, the mountains that are in the very forground? That is where we had to be the next day! The looked so so far away. The first pic of the car was right ubove some abandoned uranium mines. It was wierd cause there was no road. and the pic with the river is the Doloras River.
That is funny. We paid for the food. It was 450. 00 a person for 6 nights of lodging and food. We did all the maid service! I have one photo of her after the ride. She has all the good one's of her bruises. You can kinda see one on her arm here. And her knee's were pretty bad too.Quote:

WOW!!! such an epic trip for all of you! Thank you for the story and the pics...I have been wondering what it might be like, sounds like training is important! Would you recommend it for just 2 people...or a group (including a doctor...hehe) would be better?
We have been talking about a tour for our honeymoon (it is gonna be a anniversary trip if we don't stop spending money on bike stuff and home improvements) This looks like a challenge to embark upon!

I've always wanted to do that ride. Maybe in the next couple of years - it is close to us so easily doable for us.
