I have been a bit down the last few days and not very motivated. I went to bed feeling yucky and depressed last night. But I had this wonderful dream. I woke up feeling better, refreshed, confident--motivated.
. . . so . . . I get an email. I was offered a sponsorship on a team! Kit is paid for. Race entry and fees paid for! :D:D:D:D
I better start training again.

Here is the team I'll be riding for. I'm suddenly feeling the pressure. I've really slacked off on my training and diet. I've started to get soft a bit around the middle :eek: I just looked at the calendar and I have a race in 8 weeks!!!! My main goal today is to come up with a nutrition and training plan to get back on track. My biggest worry is trying to over-compensate and end up over-training or causing an injury.
No specific races have been determined yet. It's a new team and it sounds like this is a trial run for them. If I want to stay a sponsored rider, I am definitely going to need to perform! No pressure . . . none at all.
So . . . anyone have a good "Couch to Elite in 8 weeks" training program?
