I rode for 2 hours this afternoon. I drank 2 full bottles on the ride, a red bull and a 1/2 a liter of water when I got home. And still I lost 2 pounds! Yes, I know it's water weight and will return shortly. It's just amazing to me how much you can sweat. Not too much climbing on today's ride only 1360 feet, so I was cruising and didn't get the sweat in the eyes thing that I get going up Diablo, so it surprised me. I do like that at least our heat is dry. My heart rate monitor said it was 94. It always registers a little high. But I never felt like I was overheating. Evaporation! Gotta love it!
I wouldn't miss the pounds if they chose to stay wherever they went. :D
