letting go...

Yesterday, my beautiful sister-in-law drew her last breath and gently slipped away to a beautiful and peaceful place. She was surrounded by her family and loving husband of 2 years who provided her encouragement and unwavering support during her difficult journey through cancer. Even as the storms grew, she never lost hope in her faith and lived life abundantly. I can only imagine how beautiful she is and I look forward to being reunited with her on that special day. The saints must have rejoiced when the gates opened for her.

We miss you and please wait for me in the garden.

I'm very sorry for your loss... watching someone you love succumb to cancer is terrible, but I know from experience also that it can be helpful to take comfort in their new-found peace. Warm thoughts to you and your loved ones.
