Currently stewing some overly-ripe Gala apples in the crock-pot with cinnamon and nutmeg. Planning on having some later with no-fat Half and Half (which really seems a contradiction in terms, but there you go)

33.5 mile outdoor ride, moderate pace, with a stiff headwind
L: cycling club's Chanukah party lunch... 2 latkes with applesauce, a few pieces of cheese and walnuts, salad, and 3 small slices of turkey, cabbage, a beer, one blueberry scone type cookie and a taste of a chocolate black bean/chili/cranberry cookie that was supposed to be for the gluten free crowd. It was awful :).
D: I was hungry again by 7 PM, so I had half a ww bagel with melted cheddar and blueberries
Sigh, one more holiday related dinner on New Years Eve

Oh mannnn I am so excited that I scored a Breville Die Cast hemisphere blender off craigslist for $175 bucks (they retail between $300 and $400). It was quite obviously barely used (with some dust on it). Took it home and made a banana, blueberry, raspberry, spinach, whey protein smoothie. Heavenly! So glad I have a working blender again, I can do one liquid meal per day now.
Breakfast 1 this morning: cottage cheese, slice of whole grain toast with jam.
1 hour weight training
Breakfast 2 this morning: 300-400 calorie smoothie

L: cup of sweet potato and carrot soup with half a grilled cheese sandwich, after a 3.6 mile ride to the closest destination I could think of, to make my mileage goal for the year, then rode back home for a 7.2 mile ride.
D: went to the bar at the Colonial Inn for dinner and ended up staying for like 3.5 hours. The band playing was great. Shared a pear salad with DH, then ate half of an apple brined chicken dinner (which was one breast), a couple of sweet potato wedges, and broccoli, half a piece of cornbread, 2 glasses of red wine.

Haven't yet decided what to do for dinner as I am headed for a friends house at 8 to bring in the new year. Made a fruit salad to take but I had better eat something to keep me from eating too much stuff...something light like perhaps some more black bean soup and 1/2 PB sandwich.
More coffee...I NEVER stay up even close to midnight...
