Lunch: 1/2 turkey sandwich on whole wheat with tiny caesar salad and 2 huge cups steamed broccoli
Afternoon snack: 1/2 turkey sandwich on whole wheat
Dinner: bowl of hot and sour soup, 2 oz roast pork. a few tablespoons of cookie dough for dessert :o

L: went out to lunch with Hirakukibou. I am not sure what the thing I had was called. It was basically a stack of veggies on a bed of squash, which was like toast and a sauce of pureed spinach. Also ate about half of a slice of rye bread, coffee
S: 3 pieces Machengo cheese, 3 pita chips
Then I went to our neighborhood holiday tea with my driveway neighbor. Everyone there was like 85 years old. I had a glass of wine at my driveway neighbor's house (we decided to pre-lubricate), and 2 tea very teeny sandwiches at the tea, with a glass of sherry, which tasted like medicine.

I was at a daytime Christmas party and everybody was sitting around a big table with food. I organized different entertainment for the children: went for a walk in the near wood, collected leaves and pebbles to put on some cards later. And the biggest enjoyment: we baked together Christmas cookies, the children shaped them differently with rabbits, ducks, stars, hearts, etc. They served the cookies to the guests wearing white aprons and everybody was so happy and satisfied. They got applauses and pictures :D
I didn't eat cookies, the smell, the pleasure of baking them with the children and giving them to the others was enough.

Lunch - light Thai spicy and sour soup, coffee with milk
Snack- a chocolate chunk cookie, a coffee with milk
Supper- sauteed bison (marinated with a bit of maple syrup, soy sauce, fig balsamic vinegar, rosemary, garlic, fresh ginger root) inside ciabatta sandwich bun

Yes, well, he prepared supper. An anniversary dinner to celebrate our first date.....20 yrs. ago. :o
Oh well, such special occasions are rare. :)

OK, bad eating day yesterday
B: 3 pieces of small slice whole wheat raisin bread French toast, 2 slices turkey bacon, coffee
L: left over chicken/ww orzo/spinach soup with a chicken sand. on a ww deli flat with slice of low fat Havarti, cole slaw
16.6 mile ride
S: piece of Machengo cheese
D: we had no plans for Sat. night, so we decided to do errands and go and get a beer and apps at a new place at around 6 PM and then decide... made the mistake of getting a sampler of boneless wings and we ate them all.
Ended up going home around 8:00 and deciding we were just about ready for bed! Ate an orange and watched TV, so I could digest my very unhealthy dinner

L: 2 chicken tenders, sauteed brussels sprouts, 2 pieces of multigrain toast (it is that hard to resist!)
AS: Kashi peanut peanut butter bar
D: Went to a tapas place, had 1 cuban chicken slider, 1 chicken skewer, and goat cheese stuffed red pepper slices. Totally overpriced. Remind me not to do tapas again except at home! ;)
I'm starting today off well with a 4 egg white omelet with red peppers, avocado, and lowfat cheddar and 2 pieces of toast. Strength training later!
