159.4 today. :D
Great job Trac!!
I'm holding on at 154
146.
I misbehaved a bit this week but I don't like to be too restrictive on holidays. Other than a little more beer than I should have had I was pretty good on portion control. Back into training mode for my next mountain bike marathon tomorrow, that should help!
Still 174.
We haven't even done Thanksgiving yet (BF works through Sunday) so not thrilled with maintaining...
146.5 for me, this week.
Does anyone mind if I join in?
Background: I gained a lot of weight over the past few years (depression + being on lexapro=me not caring about my increasing weight) Used to run but got bursitis a few years ago and have not really tried since (too afraid). That injury is the reason I started riding my bike (did not learn until I was 21-I am 23 now). I have been very inconsistent with riding. Anyway, I started doing a little exercise since Feb and that, along with cutting down some on food, has allowed for some weight loss
In Feb I was 244. This morning I was 224.6. A short goal is to get below 220. A longer term goal is 199.
Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving :)

Welcome Kim (cyclinginmd)- anytime is a good time to join in.
Did you miss me?
Last Sunday I was hospitalized with acute pancreatitis and galls stones that required emergency surgery. I was admitted around 2am Sunday morning and then had to wait, NPO, for my pancreas to "cool off" before the surgeons could take out my gall bladder. Painful, but I did it. Surgery was successful. My gall bladder and the stones blocking the pancreatic drainage, which caused the inflammation from hell.
I'm having trouble shaking the fever and I can't go home until I'm 24 hours without a fever. My pancreas is still inflamed, too, so I'm back at NPO.
As of right now, I'm here for two more days, minimum.
I have no idea what my current weight is. I've had less than a thousand calories the whole week - I was on liquids and soft food briefly, then spiked a 103 fever. Now I'm back to NPO.
I can't help wondering if there is some sort of appetite supressant in the IV drip.
Anyone have experience eating for pancreatic recover? Suggestions are welcome.

Roxie,
I posted on your other thread, but just one more...when I was in the hospital before/after my orthopedic surgery when I fractured my pelvis, I also had NO appetite the entire time I was in the hospital (5 days). Maybe it was the painkillers?
What is NPO, by the way?
Hope you get to go home soon!

Friday again!

I am happy about the weight. I have a bug so no exercise for the last few days. Combine lack of exercise with boredom from sitting around feeling punky, it is hard not to eat. Unfortunately, illness rarely decreases my appetite. :(
Heading back down again, 136.8. I will take it.
