The steering wheel cover is leather, but I still would consider getting the furry cow cover for it (I wonder, do they make stick shift knob covers in that material?). I think it would look great, as I have a "lightning red" Impreza!!!

OK, we were only going to take a pic of it. :D:p

Strange animal . . .
So, I didn't find this on a ride, but I didn't know where to post this so it's going here. This was scrounging in our yard yesterday morning. It looked very wild. It was about the size of a large lab, except it was very lean and muscular. Long white face. Ringed tail and large black paws.
Labradoodle experiment gone wrong???? Definitely not a red fox (I've had a lot of people say that). It was about twice the size of a fox and, as I mentioned earlier, it has a ringed tail.

hmmmm that definitely looks like a cat of some sort - its the wrong shape for a mt lion cub though.....
-
Very strange - have you contacted your local wildlife authorities? It might be an escaped exotic.
-
I haven't contacted anyone yet. I thought about emailing the DNR. Maybe I'll do that.

looks like a fox with ringworm (no tail hair)
poor thing!

here's a fox with a full feathered tail.
-
Hmmmm, could be. But it didn't have big pointy ears. They were smaller and rounder than that.
-
its ears certainly don't look right. Maybe the poor creature was in a fire and its eartips were damaged too?
and instead of ringworm, that's scarred tail?
-
That is one weird looking animal- I can't tell what it is!
Foxes are nowhere near as big as large labs. Doesn't look coyote, or cat, or even dog.
We have a whole family of poor mangy red foxes in our neighborhood lately- apparently the mother was injured and her adolescent cubs all scattered about into people's yards, including ours. Mostly they're being left alone to wander off and find homes somewhere. Today my neighbor told me she saw a 3 legged fox go up our driveway. :( It's been guessed that they don't have rabies, but are mangy. Poor things.
-
The MI Wildlife Conservancy said they think it is a fox with a severe case of mange. :( Poor guy.

:D On a tour along the Lewis and Clark trail a friend collected state license plates she found along the road. After 6 weeks she had 5 plates from different states.

treasure?!
Two weeks ago I found cans, cans, and cans. Not to mention an obscene ammt of trash. I went back the same way and we collected enough cans to fill two 13 gallon bags and I also took a yard waste trash bag and filled it as much as we could. (I took my 7 yo. son with me to help.)
It kinda worked out for me because I am using all the cans to recycle to put towards my MS ride next month.
