I won an IPOD Nano with 25 dollars worth of music credits!
I make small donations quarterly to DemocraticUnderground and this time they had a raffle for people who donate.
I even got to pick my color!!! wooo hoooo!!

that's the second thing I've won in 1 week. My luck of "I never win anything" has just changed.

Just got word that a friends melanoma is back, it's aggressive and spreading. :( If anyone has any to spare, good wishes and prayers for Linda please.

I'm so sorry about your friend Linda. Sending healing thoughts...

Er, I am just back from meeting some of my younger friends from school for drinks. I ate things that never touch my lips; cottage fries, nachos, etc. That plus 2 glasses of wine are making me feel gross. It was fun, but I can't do this very often.
I have to go on a long ride tomorrow!

We found it by googling "dog friendly hotels," came up with another hotel that we've stayed at, called Hotel Lucia, and when they didn't have availability, they sent us over here. I think it's an extra $45 fee for the dog, and they ask that you keep him in a crate if he is left alone in the room.
