TPBM is going out to dinner with their SO tonight.

False. Thankfully we are staying in tonight for a change. Too bad the kids will be there, too. ;)
TPBM is planning a 50+ mile ride for tomorrow
True, I'm going to tackle a tough, hilly century tomorrow (hope my ankle holds up on this ride).
TPBM has or is going to take a nap today.
No - PBJ - and a sample of vegemite (YUCK!).
TPBM likes John Grisham novels.
True (go George!) I hope that it is as exciting as the Tour of Flanders was last week
TPBM knows what natto is and has eaten and liked it.
(OT - is that your kitty in your avatar, imdeanna)
True, although I haven't been out in awhile --used to summer biathlon (running & shooting).
TPBM loves hot summer weather.
of course I do. Makes for great skiing.
TPBM: Loves to take naps with their dog
Yes and no. My Dane sleeps on the floor next to the couch when I nap. My couch simply is not big enough for Gaston and me. The cats on the other hand do nap with me - they sleep on top of me, in the crook of my legs, on the back of the couch.
TPBM loves watermelon!
true, i love watermelon
TPBM likes dog biscuits occasionally .. or well, has just eaten a few over the years.
False. BUT... I did eat dog food once when I was a kid. My dad said he'd give the first kid (there were 8 of us) who ate each flavor of Come N' Get It $1.00. That was BIG money back then. I ate each flavor with pride. :D
TPBM rides mtn bikes at night
Oh h#ll no! I have big issues with seeing where I'm going.... I wasn't even too fond of mt biking in deep ferns during the day....
TPBM loves Miyazaki films
True for at least one film: Howl's Moving Castle. Must check out more.
TPBM is also having (or had or will have) a lovely post ride Gin & Tonic (preferably Saphire).
I got rained on during my bike/run brick. Does that count?
TPBM prefers a Mac
Yes! Mac all the way for me.
OT - but YES! Howl is very good, but it is his last film and he was getting tired of the whole business and very ready to retire. Personally I think Princess Mononoke is his best. The animation is breathtaking and the story line is compelling. It is NOT animation for children - its actually quite graphically violent in places (though I can't recall him ever even going near sex.... though there tends to be a boy/girl interest in all the films, all of the relationships in his films are pretty innocent). I definintely put Mononoke in in my top 10 all time movies.
Other Miyazaki films to check out - Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Naussica - Valley of the Winds, Porco Rosso My Neighbor Totoro (this one is very much a children's film - its quite sweet)
TPBM lives on a farm
Does just renting an old farmhouse count? They do farm the land around me.
(And, I did grow up spending a LOT of time on the farm...changing irrigation pipes, feeding calves, watching out for the bull, bucking hay bales, feeding chickens, pigs, etc.)
TPBM knows how to rope.
Maybe...not sure what gypsie jazz music is, but I'll try just about anything once!
TPBM is a tad sore from yesterday's ride(s). I spent more time in the saddle yesterday than i have since I was 10 years old (and that's not saying much since I'm such a newbie lol). But it was FUN!
True, I am a bit sore, but it's from the incredible small amount of running I did on the treadmill yesterday, coupled with a sprint up the hill on my 30 lb. hybrid bike to avoid getting rained on.
TPBM is going to a Seder next weekend.
False. Instead I'll be attending a 50th surprise birthday party..
The next person below me will celebrate their birthday this month or next month.
True, although the first time I spotted the little round glove marks on the backs of my hands, I almost went to my doc--a cyclist--to ask what new skin disease I had that was giving me symmetrical dark spots. Jeez.
TPBM has a BIG life event coming up this year, like a remodel, return to school, marriage...
:D You must not remember the "skin disease" marks we used to get from the old string mesh back gloves. Those really looked pathological.
False - anyhow nothing planned, and praying that events only partially expected with our parents don't turn into a major life event for us this year :( - too much of that going around right now.
TPBM loves to SWEAT.
I love to sweat and am looking forward to the 90F+ temps and high humidity that are the norm here in the summer.
TPBM loves ice cream
Oh man, I LOVE ice cream. It has got to be my favorite thing to eat. Ben and Jerry's Phish Food is a big favorite.
TPBM wears glasses...
Contacts actually. Glasses can't properly correct my vision.
TPBM has more than two children
