Don't forget the potato starch! SPAM is a complete meal in itself: protien, fat, starch!!!! Meat and vegetables! MMMMMMMmmMMMMMMM good!
That reminds me of an old "Sylvia" cartoon of uses for a worn-out certain birthcontrol object. It could be reused as a waterproof yalmuke for cats...
Well, the tree is down. In the process of trying to put the tree back into the hall closet I managed to create an avalanche of the contents thereof, and found that the tent and camp stove I thought had been left in exDPITA's basement were, in fact, residing peacefully in the depths of my hall closet.
Happiness for the fate of those two things, but still morose about several others which I *know* are in ex's sphere of influence.
Must "leave it" and "move on".
Better things ahead, eh?
(ooh, my cd just started up "Clocks" by 12 Girls Band. It's a sign!)
salsa glad about the house! woo hoo! hugs to your mom.
KNot- You would so fit in Austin. We have gluten free sections in the grocery store and a SPAM fest! My Pawpaw used to eat SPAM, I never have been one for canned meat.
Salsa- great news on the house. Are you going to post before and afters? Hugs to your mom.
SKnot rode the Commutermobile!
My little baby rode an adult sized bike!
Granted it was only 10 minutes, and it was around the school track, but he did it!! I let him decide when we would go home, because I didn't want to push him and have him give up on biking again.
As we walked home he said he felt really good and liked riding!
So, now I hope I can get him to ride around the track a little bit each evening as I either walk or run around. Slowly but steadily... He did say that biking was one of "his" sports, so even though he's a reluctant rider he thinks of himself as a cyclist.
Awww, I'm so happy!
(BTW: I thought I'd have to lower the saddle, but he could sit and touch the ground flat-footed! The kid has longer legs than me already! He didn't want me to raise the seat, that's fine. I just want him to ride and if he wants to touch the ground for now, that's fine.)
