Thank you for sharing his last day with you. It sounds like he left in the same loving embrace that he entered the world- surrounded by his favorite things and people. Praying for peace and comfort for you right now. Sending much virtual love your way...

Just wanted to send you my caring thoughts for you and your families. I have lost too many members of my family to cancer. (My dad is dealing with it now.) It is no fun to loose family members. Remember the good times when you can and have the emotional energy to do so. What helped me the most was to get get out and ride, hike to clear my mind so I could get through each day. Perhaps that will help. May you be strong in the coming months. Lots of hugs to you.

Mimi,
What a strong woman you are. Such an eloquent post during what must be such a difficult time for you. Much love and hugs. xx
What a beautiful, peaceful exit to this world. You are one tough cookie. Please know we're here for you in the coming weeks, months when it may get a little lonelier.
Amazing that he got to go to med school. He's got a lot to teach those whippersnappers. :)
Mimi, thank you for sharing his last moments. My condolences to you and your family.
Mimi -- thank you for sharing that touching story. Blessings to you and your family.
Oh Mimi, I am so incredibly sorry, but am relieved he's no longer suffering, and that he left this world surrounded by those who loved him. Take good care of yourself in these coming days/weeks/months. You're in my thoughts.
((( Mimi and Mimi family ))) So sorry for your loss. I wish we'd gotten to ride with Don. It was something I'd wished for moving here to the PNW. However I know the world is a better place just because he'd been here. Knott rode for him yesterday and I'll ride for him today. :o
Mimi thank you for sharing an update at this most difficult time. I came on here in hopes that Don's bike was found and now completely shocked. My heart goes out to you and your family. {{{{hugs to all of you}}}}
I rode for him today, too.
