Oh, so do I! :D

not that my opinion counts for much or SHOULD count for much; but the way i keep track is by clicking on "new posts" so i always know which threads are most active. it doesn't matter if they're in humor or triathlon. i can see where stuff is happening and i imagine a lot of other people can too.
Mr Silver doesn't bother me; my husband thinks its odd that he's so comfy here, but he does seem harmless enough.
so wherever it is, i will probably be able to find it.
and yes Lisa's avatar is amazing. I am assuming it is REALLY her.....
i can't change Alfonsina, i'm kind of attached to her.
ack!! so much change happening?!?! i can't take it. what does this mean for our future? who can tell?
i do the same thing mimi. thats actually how i found TD in the first place, i was going there and searching new posts.
OMG, and Trek420 is now a GIANT SQUID!!!   (Watch out for those suckers...)
New universe SCARY!  ;)
Kit-your avatar is adorable. :) Is that a picture of you when you were younger? Too cute. :D
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
I like watchin' the puddles gather rain
And all I can do is just pour some tea for two
And speak my point of view
But it's not sane, It's not sane
I just want some one to say to me
I'll always be there when you wake
Ya know I'd like to keep my cheeks dry today
So stay with me and I'll have it made
And I don't understand why I sleep all day
And I start to complain that there's no rain
And all I can do is read a book to stay awake
And it rips my life away, but it's a great escape
escape......escape......escape......
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain
ya don't like my point of view
ya think I'm insane
Its not sane......it's not sane
I am soooo SICK of the weather here. If it's not pouring rain it's gale force winds or a combination of both. It's pretty much been like this since Christmas so there has been zero opportunity to get out on my bike and its driving me crrrrazzzy.
Plus I have five stitches in my head due removal of a mole so can't wear a cycling helmet anyway.
Bangs head on desk.
That's all. Just wanted to vent.
PS - Kit and Lisa I like the new avatars
Bruno - Sorry to hear about your head, I had the same thing done last summer on my back and couldn't wear a bra for a week!
It's another icy/rainy/grey day here in Central IL...we're planning on a lazy day around the house watching movies. It had been so long since we've rented any movies our vid club card was expired...on the plus side that means practically every movie in the place is "new" (we only go to a movie every two or three years). :D
23 degrees AGAIN this morning!! this coldness seems to have gotten stuck here!
what's up with that?
Bruno, sounds like you picked a perfect time to get that mole removed.
Imagine if the weather was lovely?!
Mimi - are they predicting snow again? Vancouver's supposed to get 2"-4" again tonight.
Bruno - sorry that your head is sore. Perhaps you need to stop banging it on your desk? ;) :p
Mimi, how do you guys deal with all. that. rain????? I think I'd be horribly depressed by all the grey. :(
until this winter, rain was no big deal. we get 32" a year average. but then last year we got 49". Rain instead of being a soft gentle annoyance became an ugly monster that unleashed trees and flooded down streets. A lady DROWNED here because a torrent flooded into her basement sound studio.
Our rain and our typical weather is something you can really ignore.
But Starting in NOVEMBER of '06, it became rather hard to ignore.
Normally, in January, we have ominous dark clouds (the sun doesn't get high enough to shine through them) but you can ride your bike. But not when it's FROZEN! There's still ice on some major streets, not too bad in a car but on a bike, it could mean broken ribs.
I'd rather have our (NORMAL) rain back.
In the summer is when I really appreciate Seattle's weather. While everyone else is dying, we're wearing longsleeved jerseys and raincoats... but not always. we get hot days too. just not very many.
That's so surprising to me...I always thought of Seattle as a very rainy place but we average 42-46 inches of rain a year here in Central IL. So you get beautiful scenery, a relatively mild winter, and less rain than us??? Well crap. :(
:D
