I spoke with CWR earlier and she welcomes us. She is lonely and there is a lot of room. She canot post, but she is reading when not resting. She is healing nicely, btw.

Alaska! My goal is to cycle all 50 by 50. 7 down....lets move. WI and AZ (tour de Tuscon) will be two more this year! Can't wait!
Trek, I had to kill it, it was badly injured in the mousetrap and would not have survived anywhere had I let it go. It was suffering.
I had to kill a possum once too, that had apparently been hit by a car. I didn't feel too bad about that though, because I wasn't responsible for injuring it. It was in agony and I was doing an act of kindness.
Morning all! Had a LOVELY evening and a tad too much wine. :p
Trek We decided the traditional 17th gift was FOOD, we grazed from the time we got home until bedtime. :D
Morning all! Glad I found you this morning.....
AG, I'll pm you later. I did fine on 1200 calories. A little hungry - more the "empty" feeling than really hungry, kwim? Of course, over the holidays I was used to stuffing myself so it's just a little stomach and mind retraining.
I liked the workout. I advanced to the second level already last night and I like it. I didn't push too hard because I didn't want to be too sore. My glutes are nicely sore today as are my lower abs. It's all good! I took my before pix yesterday too. Tonight I will bike so I'm actually taking in 1400 calories today. I did get a bit dizzy yesterday. And I love a little hot chocolate in my coffee so hey, when mamma's happy, everybodies happy!
Queen, congrats on your anniversary! Sounds like you gals had a nice time last night and I just love hearing about long term relationships. Does my heart good:p
Lise, yuck on the mouse. I know you had to do it - just glad it wasn't me. I did see a mouse in my garage the other day and I unleashed the hounds (literally). Unfortunately, there's something more entising to them in the swamp and I'm having a heck of a time keeping them in the yard these nights.
My old dog used to go to the swamp/wetland behind our house and sit her sore hips in the water.
she'd come back COVERED in algae and stinkin'.
Actually, I've got 3 hammocks. The first two at the jammie party get to borrow, the rest of you BYOH. Or we'll have a sewing party and make more.
I beg to differ. My bike's soul is in it's hubs and bottom bracket and headset. That's where the grease is, and you need grease to release the soul of each component, and a frame to tie them together into a symbiotic whole. I've upgraded frames, and the soul of the bike stayed with the original hubs and moved to the new frame, along with the 1970 Campy Record derailleurs.
But some bike parts are made to wear out (chains, cassettes, cables) and most human keep all their parts throughout life (barring a heart valve replacement or something). Hmmm...
Knotted, was your old dog named Stinky Butt Dog too?
Yup, she shoud've been!
A groggy good morning TD - I had the worst migraine in the middle of the night. Kept thinking of BMO and her constant headaches. I actually got up and was worried I might be having a stroke or something. Anyway, I was finally able to go back to sleep and woke up this morning with only a lingering headache but I can't move it too fast. I only get migraines once every couple of years so don't know what precipitates them. I suspect last night's had something to do with too much healthy living after 2 weeks of decadence. Yesterday I only ate 1200 calories, burned off 400+ on the bike, NO coffee, NO sugar, NO booze. Aaack, just severe withdrawal I guess. :D
a headache after not eating enough? are you dehydrated? is your diet too extreme?
I decided to stay home again today - I woke up feeling pretty good, then it quickly went downhill. More Tylenol Cold and Sinus or whatever it's called. More echinasea tea. I'm growing tired of chicken noodle soup.
I don't know how to spell echinasea.
I've decided to give TD's new home a chance. As one who has problems with change, this is a good exercise. I will adapt and move forward. :o
I watched The Forgotten last night. *snooze* And that is my editorial content for the day.
I still have a nasty head full of....
but i'm at work and i took my bike with me. I didn't ride, but i have to get to the mechanic's somehow if i want my car back!
no drugs today at all.
My DH made chicken soup for me last night from scratch. It was really good.
