uhoh I have a bug too. Yesterday I was dizzy, inner ear congestion? great!
then today, major head cold symptoms. And we're going to go for a ride at 1pm!

Mimi,
Maybe you should scratch the ride and instead take some cold medicine, and go to bed with some hot tea. Feel better!
I have spent the entire morning on YouTube.
Here's where my 2nd sig line came from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJvNv...elated&search=
I haven't even taken a shower yet. lazy lazy lazy.
Making pancakes for lunch.:D
I have done virtualy nothing productive all day. It has been wonderful. It is so warm here all my bulbs are popping up. I am still in jammies and do not see that changing anytime soon. I adore lazy Saturdays. :)
I am installing the Red Hat Fedora Core 6 Linux system on my desktop computer today. It takes a few hours. Meanwhile I am happily typing away on my new MacBookPro that the company got me. I can run xterms and do normal unix stuff under MacOS, but will install Linux on it also. Going to demo Parallels, which will let me run Linux under MacOS and effectively run the two OSs simultaneously rather than having to boot between them. I'm liking the trackpad for the two-finger scrolling. I now I can see YouTube videos and get sounds and other unnecessary but fun things I couldn't do under my old Linux system.
Love the touchpad on my iBook G4! and the two-finger scrolling is pretty awesome.
when I have to use a mouse... well, I miss the touch pad.
Deb, Sknot would probably understand everything you just said, but I have almost no clue.
Now that I can see YouTube videos, am I permitted to ask some dumb questions about X&G? I've read some of the fanfic but never seen it on TV. Why would a warrior have so much skin showing? Why would she wear armor that covers only her boobs? Why would she go into a battle with long loose hair that could get tangled up on things in a fight? Makes no sense to me. Guess that's why I don't watch TV.
I miss Freddie.
One of my favorites

BTW, Linux is another operating system (Windows, MC OS 9), without going totally geeky on you all, Fedora Core (FC6) and Ubunutu are called "Distros'. they're both Linux, but are put out by different Companies

Snap - do you know if that is Freddie being sampled on "Galaxy Bounce" by the Chemical Brothers?
I think I feel to sh*tty to try to catch up. I rode a 200k today, which completes my R12 award. Let's just say that, after calling in sick Wednesday and Thursday, I was not really recovered from whatever GI issues I had going on. I started wishing it was over at 40m, really wishing it was over at 60m, started having BAD stomach or something pain at 70 or 80, but still finished in ten hours total. I think my ride time was 8 or 8.5. I ate pasta for breakfast, drank Gatorade, Sweet Tea, Coke, Green Tea. I ate ten Pringles and a handful of Cape Cod chips, and one bite of a Nectar Bar, and two bites of a Clif Bar, and a bag of Sport Beans. My stomach was saying no to food, but luckily let me continue to eat electrolyes. Luckily, it was enough. (Oh, unlike last year, the coldest ride of my life, it was 80, with 80% humidity. maybe warmer. To top it all off, we have reason #10 to wear panties under your bike shorts. So when I had to excuse myself from the nice RBA's wife's dinner she wanted to make me, to go to the bathroom, which I was unable to ride to before sh*tting out my entire guts into my bike shorts- I had something (panties) to wash up with and clean the bathroom with before putting on soaking wet bike shorts and slinking to my car, but not before being busted by the teenage daughter...
Hope everyone else is having a better time today.
