I have been like a yo yo this challenge.... back down to 244.4.
I really didn't want to drop this week because my triathlon is on sunday.....but I will take it anyway! I think I started building more muscle and after I started eating more the days I worked out I lost a little more. I wish this was an exact science!!!! grrr
Tina
ps.. I belong to another group that weighs on mondays. This has been a good deterant for me not to blow it over the weekends.
Hi, I am out in Halfway, OR, halfway through my 3rd Great Bicycle Adventure for Hospice and have no scale!! With all I have been eating on this ride, I will be a blimp when I get home...maybe muscle weight?!! I miss the forums. Hello to all of you.
Blog address is below.
Hi again,
I apologise if I came across as rude or offended anyone. It definitely wasn't intended.
Hi, I'm 'fessing up......7th Aug 70.8kg or 155.76lbs and 14th Aug 70.9 or 155.98 lbs...absolutely devastating readings. Almost scared to hop on the scales this coming Friday! It seems so much worse now that I've been consistently over 70 kgs.
Grumble, grumble....170.2. I guess the missed workouts combined with a super high calorie work dinner on Monday was a bad combination! Oops!
Back on track for this next week. The good news is that even though the scale isn't cooperating, my clothes are fitting better. :)
I have been 122.4 for 3 days now (yippee!!) In case I forget to weigh tomorrow it goes up...I thought I would submit my weight now.
Over 1 full week of loggin all food and execise and NOT adding food just because I exercised. SO maybe this is helping.
Yes, I am hungry!
But pants feel looser.:)
65.2kg.
215.4. this is moving in the wrong direction...I will have to do better next week...it doesn't show on the scales, but I do think I'm doing better: not snacking at work or before dinner, working out more....now that my bike is back from the shop I'll be cycling to work again next week so that should help.
This week has been somewhat strange. I think I am being punished for not using my lymphedema pump this week... I have been anywhere from 240.2-246 this week....but landed at 244.6 this morning.
I went down to 240.2 on tuesday....but with much exercise and not using pump i know i have fluid where it should not be.....maybe I will get it all together this next week.
This last sunday I did my triathlon....shaved off 16 min from my last full triathlon (even though this one had an additional 400m+ run/walk/jog up the hill through loose sand and 3 more miles on the bike).
I took monday off... I thought I deserved that since during the triathlon I burned approx 4500+ calories!
Tuesday - light cardio - 30 min, 15 min light weights, my blisters still were not healed to do a bunch
wednesday - blisters doing a bit better but not totally healed 45min cardio, 30 min weights
thrus - 900 meter swim
today- I am meeting with a personal trainer ....so she can kill me..LOL
tomorrow is our mamma jamma training ride - not sure how far/which route I will choose....
Sunday will be my day of rest and house cleaning day!
Have a great weekend all.
Tina
Holding at 134. I forgot to report last week, but it was also 134.
168.5 for me. Was hoping for lower, but I'll take it. :)
248, but I'm back home from two months on the road and eating whatever we could find just off the highway, and back to my green smoothies and long rides around Lake Miramar and Fiesta Island. This weight will come off.

139 for me this week.
Wooo a delayed weight loss! 152! 8')
Two weeks of regular eating, not trying to count calories just eat food and I gained 4lbs. I am really surprised I gained so much. I mountain biked everyday for minimum 1 hour max 3 hours, several days I also swam, hiked or went tubing. I know I over ate at two meals but the rest of the time I ate what I thought was pretty healthy home cooked food and really did not over indulge. I think I need to keep a food diary even when on vacation so I can truly know what I am eating.
Anyway in a giant step backward I now weigh 179.6 here's to hoping at least 4lbs of it is water weight.
It's nice to be back on TE and be accountable again:)
That's definitely the story of my spring, summer, Jones. Somehow in the last week or two the weight finally decided to start melting off. I'm wearing jeans right now that I haven't fit since wintertime!
Reesha congrats on getting into your jeans. I just wish I could lose it as fast as I can gain it.
I was out of town last week without scale. I am now 142! THANKS!
Weight for 21st Aug is 71.3 Kg - sorry I'm still in shock and haven't done the conversion to lbs. Can't work it out. No overeating, limited bread intake, no desserts or sweets or chips. I walked to work 4 of the 5 days instead of driving and put weight on! I was expecting perhaps to lose a little, certainly not put more on.
OMG only 2 more weeks.
Definitely NOT going to make my goal. Might as well sign me up for the next 8weeks! Story of my life!
129.5 on friday.
This past weekend = big miles *and* big meals. :o I think the meals won out.
Crummy week. Haven't weighed in. Spent all weekend in bed with kleenex and chocolate.
But I am done with the pity-party. Back in action today. Will report on Friday.
Susan,
Same problem.
Road a fair amount this weekend. Tried to keep food intake moderate. I was HUNGRY...still not happy this AM. Not toooooo much up, but some. I suspect it will equilbrate tomorrow AM. That is why I DON'T like weighing on Monday. But I had to check in.
Riding makes me sooooooo hungry!
Sorry for the delay. I was in Philly for the Livestrong Challenge and although I had my laptop with me, I wasn't checking my standard websites very often!

OK, I know it is NOT Friday. But I have been up all week (weight that is). As usual I don't know if I'll remember to weigh or post tomorrow. So I'll go ahead and do that now:
123.4 (is that back where I started? --almost).
So I need to relook at this past week...food log, activity, etc. Darn it!
No problem that it isn't Friday, whatever day works best for folks, no biggie!

Friday - again!!! Latest weight 156.2. Lots of walking this week - lost a little:) I think I'm safe in saying (ahead of the end of our current challenge) that I won't reach my goal - yet again. Will keep trying though. Still walking to work.
back up to 216.2 this week. Once again not doing well for the challenge, but I haven't completely given up. I'll keep at it, and continue for the next challenge. Although the weight isn't coming off yet, I'm feeling stronger and fitter than I have done in a long time so something must be working...
142 still.
144.
It's been a while since I've checked-in. Too much travel this summer. I had really hoped to make it to my official WW goal of 140 by Sept 1--that's definitely not gonna happen :( I'm just glad that I didn't end up gaining this summer. Perhaps the next 4 lbs will come off with the next cycle.
127.
134 again.
244.6
Got a new digital scale - not a Tanita, ha! - that measures all sorts of stuff for my birthday from my mom, including weight to the ounce, and allegedly, water composition, bone mass, fat % and so on.
So far it won't give me a reading on all of that, though. I keep getting and Error message. I think I'm just too fat to fit into their algorithms. It works for D*H. HE gets a full reading. He's lost 40 pounds in the last five months. Figures.
Roxy
176.0
I have to get better at goal setting. I won't reach my goal this time and I haven't reached my goal in the previous two challenges. Maybe next time, will there be a next time? Please say yes.
:) Of course there will be a next time. After next week's final weight, I'll start a new thread for the next 8 weeks.

Thank you:)
Just out of curiosity (or something) I weighed myself again yesterday morning. 214.0!! The lowest yet this challenge! Could I swap out Friday's weigh-in with yesterdays? It was a far more uplifting morning....and a good motivation to do better this week.
Oh I'm all about being more uplifting! I totally get that.
Not a problem, consider it changed. :)
138 - not my goal but in the right direction.
