Sheba's got the groove on.
That's one very happy cat. Enjoy!
Am just lovin' these pictures. The fur families look so happy & content. :)
Here's Tari, now nearly 6 months old, with her new toy. I have no idea where the toy came from, I just hope she stole it from a friend and not from a vendor at the Rose city Classic this weekend - I'd rather steel from a friend.

(she isn't really that dark, the color balance in this photo isn't great).
((and note the bed on the chair, nope she isn't spoiled))
Tari is gorgeous! Love her fleece outfit. Not spoiled a bit, I can tell. :D
If that toy were a gift they would have removed the price tags.
Tari is obviously a klepto ! lol!
Tari is beautiful, even if she doesn't understand that everything doesn't belong to her :D She looks quite happy!
Sheba looks just so content and happy as well! I love seeing all of the beautiful pets :) All of these pictures are leaving me needing a cat-fix - will have to decide which of my friends with felines doorstep I am going to have to land on this weekend so I can play with their cat(s)...hmmmm
Would love to show our girls (just realized EVERY pet we have are girls) :)
but I don't know how to upload photos. Help?
click on the "Manage attachments" button in the field called Additional Options, underneath the regular posting field. You have to downsize most photos quite a bit beforehand for them to fit.
My puppy, Jackie (who is half-Pekingese and half-Jack Russell Terrier) holding down Tennessee, my retriever-mix with just one paw! Man, she's strong!! :)
Tennessee was a dog I found on the side of the road. She is now 100 lbs. but when I found her, she was half-starved and weighed 33 lbs. I picked her up and put her in the van and took her home. She is the best dog we've ever had!! Love her to death. Jackie is a total brat!! She is 6 months old and we are having a hard time house-breaking her. We also have 13 female chickens. All are named and very sweet and just stand there and let you pick them up! I love them so much! This is a picture of them rolling around in the leaves the other day (our one sunny, nice day in months now!)
Oh, yeah, it worked! Thanks lph!! :)
aaww, your chickens are cute :)
Wonderful story about Tennessee. She's a very lucky little girl. :-)
The chickens remind me of stories relatives used to tell about my father when he was a boy. Apparently he had a pet chicken (they grew up in a city so I'm not sure how he came to own a chicken) and he'd put a lightweight rope around it's neck and walk it around his neighborhood. :)
I couldn't resist. Must. Share. Following. Video.
It seems your metronome is working at your cat's resonance frequency
Hard to believe this thread has been going since 2006!
Sadly, the 2 buns - my 2 buns - that kicked this off are both now gone.
We had to put Noah down yesterday morning. At nearly 12 years old, it was bound to happen sooner or later, but you're never prepared for the day when you see your pet failing to the point of no return. It seemed cruel and selfish to try to keep him around - to "make him more comfortable." Comfortable for what? He was shutting down. Things were starting to cascade past hope. We watched Tasha die in our arms 2 years ago, and we swore we'd never go through that again - or put another animal through that again. I was okay up until we got to the emergency vet clinic. Then I started to bawl. I cried all day yesterday. The house seems so empty without him...without them both. This is the first time since 1992 that I have not had a rabbit...or a pet of any sort.

(((((7rider)))). I'm so sorry about Noah and, (belatedly) about Tasha. I think most of us pet owner/lovers can relate all too well on how hard it is to say goodbye to our beloved fur babies. I hope you find some solace on the loving home you gave both of them and the joy they brought to your lives.
I am so sorry about your beloved bun. It is so hard to let go, even when it is the kindest thing to do.
(((hugs)))
So sorry for your loss of Noah and Tasha. Tasha's been waiting at the Rainbow Bridge for Noah to arrive. They're now scampering off with all of the other TE fur babies who've crossed over the bridge. They bring with them all the love and attention you showed them when they allowed you to share your life with them. When you feel a breeze, it'll be their spirits hopping by.
Again, sorry for your loss.
I'm really sorry to hear that too 7.
Veronica
Wow, 7. Those are some beautiful bunnies. Thanks for sharing your stories with us. It must have been really hard to say goodbye.
I hate goodbyes, way too many of them :(
I'm sorry for your loss.
(((7))) Sorry for your loss. He was a really cute bun.
7, sorry about your bunny. He was beautiful and looked so soft! I know you will miss him a lot.
So sorry to hear that your beloved bun-buns are gone. It's very hard to let our 'babies' go. Crying is good medicine.
Sending hugs.....
DH has been teaching our new adopted kitty Sheba to fetch:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoHLcs0qiGg
I used to have a kitty that played fetch! My mom took him in and now he won't play anymore, but he learned how to knock at the door when he wants in or out.
This little guy isn't technically mine but I get to share him :)

It's been awhile since I've seen this thread, and since then.... I've got a new pet! Meet Oliver, our miniature donkey. :)
Attachment 12658
ooh! I LOOOVE donkeys! my dream is to have an animal sanctuary one day and there will surely be donkeys! Oliver's a cutie!
Sheba's doing very well with fetch. I never had a cat who would bring the toy anywhere near me.
Oliver is gorgeous!
Donkeys - my favoritist animal in the world. :) I love Oliver!
I'm sorry, I can't help it. I love this quote and, well, Oliver makes me think of it.
